Flowers are negatively charged, so when in close proximity, static electricity causes the pollen to attract and stick to the bee. Once foraged, the flower’s electrical field temporarily changes – this helps to redirect other bees to forage from different pollen sources. But to be triple sure that flowers are pollinated, you can easily hand pollinate them with a paintbrush. This is very helpful if you do not see many pollinators visiting your growing space!
