We bet you didn't know this beautiful place exists!🇿🇦 We had the best family holiday in Port-Alfred🙌 These cute little family cabins from Kowie River Chalets sleep up to 6, with a cozy living room, dining area, fully equipped self-catering kitchen. The BEST views of the ocean from your cozy chalet. We even had friends 🐳 swim by while we had a braai ending off the day 🍷🔥 1Hr 30min Drive 🚗 from Port-Elizabeth👌 📍@kowieriverchalets 🇿🇦 Port Alfred We will definitely be exploring Port-Alfred again, we think there are some epic hidden gems and can't wait to explore them. We managed to do one ! THE BIG PINEAPPLE 🍍 CHCEK OUT our other post all about that ✨️ We never knew it was such a beautiful location, perfect for family holidays. If you're looking for things to do in Port Alfred for families or couples, we highly recommend a visit to @halyardshotelandspa 🔥👇 What's fantastic is that the hotel facilities are not for in-house guests only - as a day visitor you can enjoy the restaurant, river cruise & spa ↘️ 1. There are two main restaurants, the Charthouse & Wheelhouse Bar with pooldeck. We loved the pool deck because you can enjoy lovely views of the river & Marina along with your meal, and even make use of the swimming pool if you want (R100pp adults, R50pp children). 2. The boat cruise up the Kowie River was really great, too. It was interesting seeing all the homes along the canal, the Nico Milan Bridge up close (an iconic landmark of Port Alfred), lots of birdlife, and even a seal! The 1 hour guided cruise cost R150pp. 3. The River Spa is amazing ✨️They offer a variety of treatments including massages, facials, manis & pedis. We got the IO-ME Treatment (R950, 120mins) which was a full body Massage+hydrating facial.
