Una delle prime cose che devo imparare in questo percorso é come utilizzare al meglio la camera.
Oggi parliamo di apertura focale.
Immaginate l’apertura dell’obiettivo come l’iride del vostro occhio.
Come per l’iride, l’apertura regola la quantità di luce che può attraversare l’obiettivo per raggiungere la retina/sensore. 🔦👀
Se c’è troppa luce, l’iride si chiude bene (f-stop più alto), mentre se é troppo poca, come di notte, si apre (f-stop più basso).
Ma non solo, l’apertura del diaframma influisce sull’esposizione e sulla profondità di campo!
La profondità di campo o DOF determinerà quanto sarà sfocato lo sfondo, ad esempio:
se volete che il primo piano e lo sfondo siano più nitidi, aumenterete aumentate la vostra apertura focale. Farete entrare meno luce ma, avrete una ripresa più nitida.
Se invece volete sfocare lo sfondo e separare quanto più possibile il soggetto, allora scegliete un valore più basso.
Molto probabilmente avrete bisogno di un filtro ND per mantenere l’immagine correttamente esposta, ma di questo ne parleremo presto.
