Detailed recipe of Ayurvedic Hair Mask 2 tbsp Amla powder 2 tbsp Methidana powder 1 tsp Bringhraj 1 tsp Shikakai 1 tsp Hibiscus 1 tsp Kalonji powder 1/2 tsp Neem powder 1 tsp reetha powder Few drops rosemary essential oil 2 tbsp Flaxseed gel 3-4 tbsp curd Mix all the ingredients and keep it covered for 2-3 hours. Soap Nut or Reetha 🌰 Water -Soak ten reeetha to 1-liter water overnight. -Alternatively, you can boil the same till soap nuts become soft. - Now add this soapy mix and make that water complete to 10 ltr. - Spray on the plants washing them entire top to bottom esp around insects (if you have) - The reetha pits can be added to compost. This is the recipe I follow for my terrace garden. You can cut this down to the desired amount. What does it do, you may ask? 🐜 It’s a fantastic cost-effective natural insecticide. It's magically effective on aphids, fruit borers, leaf miners, mealybugs. 🪴 Washes off dust and makes the plant breathe better. ♻️ Reuse the same reetha three times before discarding it in compost. You can do this spray 2 or 3 times a month, followed by a citrus enzyme spray the next day. It will give the plant a growth boost, and them plant babies will bless you. I have shared that recipe of bio enzyme many times but will share it again. DIY Ayurvedic shampoo 🧖‍♀️ This gentle shampoo will help prevent hair fall, heal scalp conditions like dandruff/itchy scalp and leave your hair soft, shiny and conditioned. I did not invent this recipe, it’s a recipe thats been used in India for centuries! Give it a try ☺️ I have the full length version of this tutorial on my YouTube channel (couple years old, but check it out for more detailed instructions!) WHAT YOU’LL NEED: 🌿 6-8 pieces of dried Shakiaki pods 🌿 7-8 pieces of dried Reetha 🌿 a few pieces of dried Amla fruit 🌿 1-2 Tbsp of Fenugreek seeds DIRECTIONS: Place your herbs into a bowl and add 3 cups of filtered water and let that sit overnight (or at least 8 hours). The next morning transfer to the stove and bring your herbal mixture to a boil. Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Cooking the shampoo will make it more concentrated. Once the shampoo has cooled, mash It with your hands to get all the goodness out of those herbs! Then strain through a strainer or a nut milk bag into a squeeze bottle and it’s ready to use! ADDITIONAL TIPS: 👉🏼 Shikakai and Amla can darken your hair over time, so if you have blonde hair you might want to take this into consideration.  👉🏼 Be careful not to get the shampoo in your eyes. It will sting and cause your eyes to go blood shot. The shampoo is gentle on your hair, but not on your eyes! 👉🏼 The shampoo will last up to a week in the refrigerator.
