Resistance training is an absolute must for everyone, at every age. And, it’s not just about building muscle. It’s also super effective for improving bone density by stimulating the bone-forming cells which makes them stronger and more resilient over time. And, as long as you’re working your muscles against an external force, it counts as resistance training, which by the way, doesn’t have to be gym equipment. You can absolutely get the same results from home without the barrier of time, travel and money. While your body weight is the most convenient and affordable, as you progress with your @bthemethod classes, try folding in a resistance band and a weighted ball to create more tension and build lean muscle.
