MA💔 After 20 years, all I have left is her paw print… and a lifetime of childhood memories. 🌈
It’s been two weeks since I had to say goodbye to Kiki.
On Friday, I finally found the strength to go back and pick up her paw print. I couldn’t bring myself to walk into the vet — the place where I last held her, where she finally let go — so a kind tech brought everything out to my car.
Her bed.
Her blanket.
Her paw print.
Everything but her.
The drive home was quiet. And with every mile closer, it felt more real. Every street reminded me she was really gone.
When I opened the door, Annie — my 140-pound Great Dane — came running. Sniffing everything. Hopping like a little bunny. She thought her sister was home.
My heart shattered.
I carried Kiki’s bed inside and felt the weight of it immediately. As I slowly set it down, Annie realized.
Kiki wasn’t coming back.
Her ears dropped. Her tail stopped wagging. She walked to her bed and just stared. The sadness in her eyes was something I’ll never forget.
I laid Kiki’s bed and blanket beside Annie for the rest of the day. Even though Kiki isn’t physically here, a piece of her always will be. Annie curled up next to the bed and her paw print and didn’t move for hours.
Despite being so big, Annie was always gentle with her best friend. Always protective. They loved each other completely.
Now the silence in our house is so loud.
We miss our sweet Kiki every single day.
I think this is how dogs grieve.
How they find closure and comfort.
And even though their best friends aren’t physically with them anymore, they learn their love never leaves.
Kiki wasn’t just a cat.
She was family. 🐾🤍

THTerrible news over the weekend losing @russellmanserofficial_, who had impacted so many lives positively.
Russ, like all of society, had his demons but was also committed to trying to be better one step and day at a time.
I'd do my best when he'd ruffle feathers to share the power of knowledge so that his choices would lead to a better human and life, and respectfully, he'd always respond to try and better himself.
I was taught to always find the good in everyone by my grandmother & and mother, and Russell gave plenty of goodness to many.
His networking skills and ability to continue to show up in adversity and keep moving forward was something we can all learn from.
The number of messages, people impacted, and actually genuinely devastated by his loss shows me the journey he'd pathed.
It's a lonely dark road coming out of our past, and I have nothing but respect for what he achieved when he changed his life, people don't realise how much hope that have other's through a belief of anything is possible!
We are constantly judged and spoken about in ill terms even though we are giving our heart and soul to helping others not live the life of destruction and dysfunction.
Today I pay respect to Russell for that pioneer journey helping other's have a voice when they couldn't, the victim's that lived in darkness he stood up for which he had to start firstly in prison where judgement is at it's highest level.
Despite all the things that should've derailed his life, he kept showing up daily doing his best to help others. That's priceless!
We all have our flaws or struggles, but his kindness to help others was always there. It'll be sorely missed by many.
I'll remember the good version of Russell because, as my grandmother & and mother taught me, don't open your mouth unless it's of goodness to someone's name.
To his sons @kymanser always here for you both.

(That was 2019)😂😂or just messaging me to find out how I am and telling me you don’t like that I am quiet now makes it feel like you did something wrong 😔🤍✨ we didn’t speak everyday but the times we did you always knew how to brighten up my day or to just make me laugh yoh my bra I’m going to miss you a lot 🤍😇🕊️

NIYesterday at 10:40pm, Leila’s beautiful soul left this world to be her silly self in paradise . It was so sudden, one minute she was here, and the next she was gone. My heart is broken beyond measure.
She loved belly rubs, kisses, barking at cats, destroying anything that was left unattended and her crate, she LOVED her crate.
I will never forget the day I picked her up at 31 days old 😭
I will miss her puppy dog eyes, her excitement when it was picture time and the bond she shared with her brothers.
