🌐 Inter-VLAN Concept – Easy Story for Students 🧠 Simple Definition Inter-VLAN Routing means communication between different VLANs using a Layer-3 device (Router or Layer-3 Switch). 👉 Without Inter-VLAN → VLANs cannot talk to each other 👉 With Inter-VLAN → VLANs can communicate safely 🏫 Story: College Building Example Imagine a college building 🏢 🎓 Departments = VLANs VLAN 10 – Students Dept VLAN 20 – Staff Dept VLAN 30 – Accounts Dept Each department has: Separate rooms Separate access Separate rules ➡️ Just like VLANs keep networks separate for security. 🚪 Problem (Without Inter-VLAN) A student (VLAN 10) wants to send a file to accounts (VLAN 30). ❌ Not possible Because: Different VLANs = different networks Switch works at Layer 2 only 🧠 Same building, but doors are locked 🔑 Solution: Inter-VLAN Now college installs a Main Office / Reception 🧑‍💼 This office connects all departments and controls traffic. 👉 This Reception = Router / Layer-3 Switch Now: Student → Reception → Accounts Staff → Reception → Students ✔️ Communication possible ✔️ Security maintained

Using a 1.0mm Stub Endmill at a staggering 60,000 RPM, this setup is clearing a path through FR4 copper with surgical accuracy. With a feed rate of 1000mm/min and a depth of just 70 Microns, the goal is clear: removing just enough material to isolate the traces without compromising the structural integrity of the substrate. For mechatronics engineers, this is a masterclass in Spindle Stability and Z-axis Calibration. At 60k RPM, even the slightest vibration can snap a 1.0mm tool or cause "burring" on the copper edges. Achieving this level of "Rubout" requires a perfectly trued machine and precise toolpath planning to ensure clean, professional-grade circuit boards every time. Due to elevation variation in the pipe routing along the pipe rack, flange joints are intentionally staggered to avoid direct alignment of adjacent flanges. This arrangement is implemented to: • Prevent flange-to-flange interference • Maintain minimum bolt tightening clearance • Ensure proper spanner access for erection and maintenance • Avoid clash with structural members and neighboring lines • Maintain required piping spacing as per project standards Since the pipe sequence was revised based on elevation differences, the horizontal alignment of flanges could not be maintained in a straight line.
