No sadness attached.

And pure, magical joy.
Seeing her light up when she sees dolls that are bald…dolls that look like her warms my heart in ways I don’t even have words for.
She doesn’t see what’s missing.
She sees herself 🥹
And she LOVES it 🤍
To her, being bald isn’t something to hide.
It isn’t something to explain.
It’s simply part of who she is right now…
and she wears it with a confidence and innocence that humbles me every single day 🥺
She sees beauty where the world often forgets to look. She sees strength.

and it was bald just like her,
it wasn’t just a gift.
It was representation.

THThis reel BROKE me 💔😭
Watching her go from so full of life…
Her bubbly, carefree, glowing in a way only a child can✨
… to being able to look back and see the days when something was already wrong…
before I knew…
before the diagnosis…
before our world changed.
You don’t notice it in real time.
You’re just living.
Laughing.
Making memories.
And then suddenly, hindsight carries so much weight.
I can see the shift now.
The tired eyes.
The loss of color in her face.
The moments she slowed down.
The version of her who was already fighting something we couldn’t yet name 😭
And then came the physical changes.
The month of steroids.
The chemo.
The side effects.
The hospital rooms.
The needles.
The hard days that no child should ever have to handle.
There are moments in this journey that take my breath away…
not because they’re beautiful,
but because they’re too heavy.
Because they hurt SO bad.
Because no parent is ever prepared to watch their child walk through something like this 💔
My mama heart literally feels like it can’t handle the heaviness most days 🥺
But here’s the part that stops me every single time…
Cancer has not taken her spirit ✨
It hasn’t stolen her joy.
It hasn’t dimmed her light.
It hasn’t taken her silliness I love so much.
She still smiles with her whole face.
She still laughs so hard.
She still loves fiercely.
She still finds magic in the smallest moments.
Even on the hardest days,
her radiance shines through.
She has been braver than I ever knew possible.
Stronger than she should’ve had to be.
And yet, somehow, she remains so full of life 🥺
… just in a way that looks a little different now.
This video isn’t just a timeline.
It’s proof.
Proof of resilience.
Proof of growth.
Proof that even in the face of something so cruel,
her light & love continues to shine so bright ✨
She is kicking cancer’s butt 👏🏻
not just by surviving,
but by continuing to live life to the fullest.
And I will never stop being in absolute awe of her 🫶🏼
She has a long road ahead of her (ringing the bell sometimes in Oct 2027 🥺)…
but she’s got this.

ACMeet Rylee a 4-year-old ALL warrior and 2026 ACCO Ambassador.
“For days, I was told ‘she’s fine’… but I knew.”
Rylee’s mom, Ashley, trusted her gut when no one else did and pushed for answers through urgent care visits, ER trips, and growing symptoms. On August 6, she finally got the answer no parent ever wants to hear: ‘your child has leukemia.’ Within hours, Rylee was on her way to Denver. In just one week, she endured a port placement, biopsies, spinal chemo, transfusions, and her first chemo treatment.
By early September, Rylee was declared in remission and now bravely continues treatment through 2027, carrying her Blina meds in a tiny “superhero” backpack and showing us all what strength looks like.
Rylee loves bike rides, tea parties, and playing with her siblings. She’s curious, thoughtful, and always smiling. In her ACCO medical play kit unboxing, she said, “Look mom! This is what I use. I’m really going to be Dr. Ta now!”
Ashley’s message to parents: Trust your gut. Keep pushing. Keep showing up. Sometimes, being heard is what saves a life.

THThere are parts of this journey I thought I was prepared for… but NOTHING prepares you for the moment you tell your baby, “this might be the last time I fix your hair for a while.” 💔
It’s a sentence no mother ever imagines saying to her baby girl.
And even though kids don’t always grasp the weight of those words, as parents, we do.
We feel the shift.
We feel the ache.
We feel the reality settling in places we wish it wouldn’t.
Watching her hair fall out was one of those milestones I dreaded from the second we heard the word “leukemia”.
Not because hair defines her… but because it marks a moment where childhood meets something far too big, far too adult, far too unfair 😢
I worried what she would think.
How she would feel.
If she would look in the mirror and see “different” instead of “beautiful.”
But here’s the part that wrecked me in a whole new way:
She didn’t shrink.
She didn’t question herself.
She didn’t lose a single drop of joy.
When her hair was gone… she stepped into her strength like she’s been practicing for it her whole life 🥹
She put on her princess dresses, twirled until she got dizzy, threw her head back laughing and showed me that confidence doesn’t live in how we look.
It lives in who we ARE ✨
She taught me at FOUR years old that beauty is not fragile.
That courage can be soft.
That even in the hardest chapters, joy still finds a way in.
I thought this moment would break her spirit…
but instead, she reminded me just how unbreakable she really is 💪🏻
And as her mom, I’m learning to see this chapter through her eyes…
not as a loss,
but as a new kind of magic she carries so effortlessly.
My girl didn’t lose herself.
She just revealed a strength I didn’t even know a four year old could hold 🥹
And witnessing her walk through this with so much light… ✨
it breaks you and heals you at the same time ❤️🩹

and somehow, at just four years old,

TH👉🏻I want to start by saying this:
I’m not sharing this to bash medical professionals whatsoever. We’ve have incredible doctors and nurses on our side, and I’m BEYOND grateful for them.
I’m sharing this because sometimes symptoms don’t look textbook…
and sometimes a parent’s intuition is the thing that catches what others can’t see (especially because YOU know your kid best).
But for WEEKS something in me knew Rylee wasn’t okay. I took her to the hospital and urgent care multiple times and each time was told she was “fine.” Allergies. A virus. Normal kid things. And often, that is true 🤷🏼♀️
But this time, it wasn’t.
These are the symptoms I kept seeing leading up to her diagnosis with B-Cell Acute lymphoblastic leukemia:
• watery eyes (told it was allergies)
• deep bags under her eyes
• swelling in her left eyelid
• random fevers
• bruises on her legs
• multiple naps a day (not like her)
• random elbow pain
• and a 35 min nosebleed the day before I demanded a blood test
None of these alone screamed “leukemia,” but together… something felt off. And that feeling… that gut instinct I had is why I kept going back. It’s why I kept asking questions. It’s why I finally said, “We NEED blood work.”
Advocating for her is the reason we caught her leukemia when we did. It saved her life.
Our kids can’t advocate for themselves. They don’t have the words or the language to explain what’s wrong. And childhood cancer symptoms often look like normal childhood illnesses.
So please hear me:
You are NOT dramatic. You are NOT overreacting. You are NOT too much.
You are their voice.
You are their protector 🤍
And if something in your gut says something is wrong, you’re allowed to push. To ask again. To seek another opinion. To go back to the ER.
To say, “I’m not comfortable with this answer.”
Trust your intuition, mama.
It’s there for a reason 🤍✨

THNight one of blina… was rough.
And honestly, the hardest parts weren’t even because of the blina itself 🫠
Around midnight, she woke up with intense leg pain that wouldn’t let her sleep (or stop crying 🥺). After some medicine, she finally fell back asleep around 2 AM, only to wake again at 4 AM with a headache… which could’ve been from a number of things. A little more medicine, some water, and mama snuggles later, she managed to sleep until about 6:45 AM.
So yes… caffeine was absolutely necessary this morning ☕️
On top of that, she had an allergic reaction to something added under her port dressing (that was supposed to help it stick better). That’s why she was crying in my video 🥺 Thankfully, the nurses acted quickly, and even brought in the sweetest therapy dog to sit at the end of her bed while they carefully removed the dressing, cleaned her skin, and reapplied everything. She handled it all like a champ 🥹
After that, her mood completely shifted.
She played with the therapy dog, made pretend ice cream for everyone, and helped me “bake” play-doh donuts 🍩😉
She also got her new Gus vest today (which, if I’m being real… she’s not a fan of 😅). I just keep reminding her (and myself) that this is only temporary.
There were moments today where I looked at her in that vest, carrying her little backpack infusing medicine, and I just wanted to cry. Because it’s not fair. No child should have to endure this. But she does it with strength and grace that blows me away.
So even when it’s hard, we’ll keep taking it one step, one day, one minute at a time.
She’s got this.
We’ve got this.

Praying tonight brings better sleep and no pain…

P.S: we bring two Labubu’s to the hospital with us and they ✨magically✨ move around her room 🤪 it started when she was first diagnosed as a way to just make her excited and laugh when she found them. Now she just loves when they pop up in different places around her room. It might seem small, and it is.. but it makes her smile. So, I’ll move them around when she’s not looking just for the fun reactions 🥰

THToday was one of those moments I’ll never forget 🩷
We shaved Rylee’s hair… something I had been quietly bracing myself for 🥹 but leave it to her to turn what I thought would be heartbreaking into something beautiful.
She was SO excited.
So full of light.
So proud.
As a mom, I worried this might be hard for her…
but I should’ve known better.
She looked in the mirror, smiled the biggest smile,
and said,
✨ “I’m so pretty!” ✨
And my heart just melted.
Because she is.
Inside and out.
Brave. Strong. Radiant.
We made it a family moment…
each of us taking turns cutting little pieces, sharing laughs through the tears.
Her dad and brother even shaved their heads too,
just so they could match her 🥹
She’s so loved.
So celebrated.
And every single day, she reminds me what true strength and beauty really look like 💛
