Remember Boyle’s Law—gas expands as it rises.💨 Add gas slowly – A small amount goes a long way. Over-inflation at depth is the most common mistake.⚖️ Let out a little air – Anticipate expansion and vent to maintain neutral buoyancy.🧵 Maintain control – Keep the spool clear, avoid wraps, and manage the line.🫧 Stay neutral – The SMB should go up… not take you with it.SMBs aren’t just for instructors or technical divers.
