The most noticeable upgrades are visual. Character sprites, enemies, and environments were completely redrawn with brighter colors, smoother animations, and more detailed backgrounds. The dreamlike setting of Subcon appears more vibrant, and environmental elements such as waterfalls, sand, vegetation, and nighttime stages were enhanced while preserving the original artistic style.
