Let’s talk color theory and lip mixology When you mix lip colors, the final shade always depends on: 🩷 the proportions of each color 🩷 the pigment intensity 🩷 the formula (matte, creamy, gloss, bc they all mix differently) 🩷 the brightness, darkness, saturation I mixed a cool-toned purple lipstick with a bright Barbie pink to create a completely new custom shade. Alone, purple can feel too deep and pink can feel too loud (let’s say hi to all new limited lipsticks shade for Valentine’s Day. Now you know how to fix the color😄… They balance each other and turn into a beautiful neon violet/ dark purple/ deep purple plum/ soft berry / raspberry rose / muted cool pink(depending on your ratio).
