Sedated Cancer Scans, the worst. It’s not like tonsils are being removed. We are waiting in anticipation to see what our twins’ cancer status is. I feel so bad for them, and often question everything in life.
I cannot go back with them when it’s time for anesthesia . My husband can do it. I went once, and barely made it through. I am a cancer survivor myself, and it pains me that we are in this situation again. The smell of the gas is relentless. And I will not let the girls see me cry, as I don’t want them to be scared.
I don’t often talk about my own cancer battle, as it fills me with anxiety and sadness. I just try to focus on the now, and that’s our girls.
This is a video of Miss Eve. She can put the mask on herself. What a freakin warrior. I’m so proud of our girls, but at the same time, I absolutely hate this.
I just received confirmation on Eve’s next sedated cancer scans. June 26: 2 hr trip. This focuses on the tumors themselves. August 15 (the day before my birthday): This is a sedated MRI on the brain to make sure it hasn’t spread there. Hopefully, we will celebrate the following day with great results.
Ella’s cancer scans were last month, stable thank god.
