I’ve been wanting to make the #celineblouse ever since it was released! @silversagapatterns did such an amazing job with the design and instructions. I ended up raising the neckline by 2.5 inches and followed her YT tutorial on how to make the neckline adjustable. Next time I won’t make the sleeves as puffy and I’ll do less ruffles along the neckline, since mine has a hard time laying down flat. Excuse me WHAT?! I thrifted this sheet for $2 and was able to make this?! This is your official encouragement to learn how to sew. It seems so daunting, but once you start, it’s not! I started in March of this year and I never thought I would be able to make something that I loved this much. @silversagapatterns is the queen of creating elegant sewing patterns. I feel like a literal princess in this dress, but also simultaneously feel like I could roll in a field full of flowers 😭 This is the Eleonora Dress by @silversagapatterns I took the top line of elastic casing down about 1 inch so that I could have more room in the bust (this allows for a bigger boob size while also raising the neckline to a height I prefer). I also took the neckline up an inch and drew it out that way. I lowered the top casing line also because I wanted less of a gap between the two lines of elastic. Just preference! I chose to do no ties on my dress. I used elastic only in all three casing areas. I measured on my body type and simply tried it on until I felt the elastic was to my liking for fit. I also did the pockets the very basic way that you can add any pockets to a dress. Hers are built in beautifully, but take a bit more time and precision. I’m still new, so I chose what route was easiest. I also added a couple inches to the length and simple cut two panels that were the width of the sheet cut in half. #eleonoradress #eleonoradresspattern #silversagaeleonora #silversaga #silversagapatterns #thriftflip
