It is truly skincare form within and is super powerful in TCM and has been used for centuries! • Tremella (Snow Fungus) supports fluids and yin (skin hydration from within) • Jujube dates nourish the blood and support energy - great around menstrual cycle ladies!! • Peach Gum nourishes dryness and gives that collagen like texture • Goji supports blood and yin (especially when tiredness shows in the eyes + skin) How to make it: it’s actually very simple. I buy everything from T&T market. You could go to any store in China Town and likely find the ingredients or Amazon sells a lot but way cheaper at Chinese stores. 1. Soak peach gum, tremella and jujube for a few hours or overnight. 2. Cut the tremella pieces off of the yellow-ish stem (discard the stem/base). I used clean scissors for this and cut into small pieces. 2. Boil everything for 20 mins in 10 cups of filtered water then turn to low and let simmer for another 20. Store in fridge for up to a week or freeze. Sometimes I drink this in the morning before breakfast or mid-day for a little pick me up! I also add saffron before drinking.
