Dazzling Speed link in my bio if you want to try it. Tested this training aid with my 7 iron and the numbers told the story. After a few swings with Dazzling Speed: • Club speed ⬆️ +1 mph • Ball speed ⬆️ +7 mph Sometimes speed isn’t about swinging harder. Use the air resistance to train speed and tempo. Train the motion. Speed follows. How much ball speed would you want to gain?

Speed training isn’t just about swinging harder. It raises your ceiling. When your max speed goes up, your “easy swing” changes too — better sequencing, more effortless distance, and fairway-finder swings that still go farther. Speed changed everything, and everyone can benefit from it.

Tested the waters with the Long Drive swing for the first time in a long time. It’s funny to see how my habits/faults come back when I ramp speed as well as seeing the swing is shorter in length than it was. Just goes to show the speed is as much a skill as it is a physical capacity

Why the lead ball of the foot matters in the downswing for Speed Generation Many golfers struggle to effectively use their lead foot in the downswing When you push into the ball of your lead foot, you’re pushing forward and down into the ground. That does two things: The ground pushes back (Newton’s 3rd law) That force helps rotate and extend your body ➡️If you stay in your heel, you can’t push effectively. This can cause your hip rotation to stall out leading to more of a slide which leaks speed. ➡️To really exaggerate this feel, put a towel under the lead foot on a tile or wood surface where it can slide. Then have someone pull the towel backwards while you try to push forward jamming your toes into the front of your shoes. The harder they pull the towel the harder you have to work which creates a larger force. ➡️Then go immediately and try this feel on grass or turf while hitting balls. It will feel easy now due to the friction of the turf. 📽A behind the scenes look at day of filming with @padraigharrington and Dr Tyler Standifird.

Here I’m cranking up the speed with my 7-iron. (TaylorMade P790) Distance doesn’t come from swinging harder—it comes from using the body the right way. I’m creating speed with a combination of braking force, tight rotation, and proper spinal extension and flexion. When those elements work together, the club releases with real power and control. If you’d like to learn how to build this kind of efficient, repeatable speed into your swing, I’m hosting a free webinar March 30th and 31st where I’ll break it all down step by step. The Speed Transfer Window - The Key to more ball speed Overspeed training like with SuperSpeed is incredibly effective at increasing club head speed. Most golfers see big gains because the nervous system learns to move faster and produce force more explosively. But faster SuperSpeed swings don’t automatically mean more ball speed for everyone Ball speed depends on two things Ball Speed = Club head Speed × Smash Factor If your club speed jumps but your strike quality drops, you’ll leave distance on the table. That’s why it’s critical to program in some overspeed work with max-intent driver swings during that period where your nervous system is already primed. Overspeed training raises your speed ceiling. Driver swings teach your body how to apply that speed. When you hit drivers at max speed you’re training: • transfer of the Overspeed feels to driver • Shaft loading and timing • Face-to-path control • Efficient energy transfer to the ball In the SuperSpeed App, we have a specific section called Ball Speed Application that mixes in SuperSpeed swings with drivers while hitting balls to make sure you are transferring over the gains. 📽@scgolfcentre

Follow + Comment ‘BOOT CAMP’ for your free program 🚨 Want Instant Clubhead Speed Without Swinging Harder? Fix Your Sequence. 🏌️‍♂️⚡ Speed isn't about swinging faster — it’s about swinging smarter. And it starts with your kinematic sequence: the exact order your body fires during the swing. 🧠💥 Here’s how dialing in your sequence = more speed right now 👇 1️⃣ Ground-Up Power Transfer 🌍⬆️ Elite swings start from the ground — feet ➡️ hips ➡️ torso ➡️ arms ➡️ club. A proper sequence lets you transfer force efficiently, turning raw strength into high-speed, centered contact. 2️⃣ Delayed Arm Action = Whip Speed 🏇💨 When your lower body initiates and your arms stay relaxed, you create lag — the same concept as a cracking whip. That separation leads to an explosive release at impact (aka free speed). 3️⃣ Less Effort, More Velocity 🚀 A clean sequence eliminates leaks in power. You don’t need to "muscle" the swing — you load, unwind, and let physics do the work. That’s how pros hit it 300+ without max effort. ⛳️💣 Want to hit it longer today without changing your swing? Fix the engine — your sequence. #golf #golffitness #golfswing #golftraining #mytpi

Comment “BOOM” and I’ll send you tips to unlock more power in your swing. Struggling to hit the ball as far as you’d like? Keeping your trail arm pinned tightly against your body might be the culprit. This often limits your swing arc, reducing the potential energy transfer to the ball. ✅ Focus on creating space between your trail arm and body. ✅ Elevate your hands for a wider swing arc. Feel the difference in distance when you give your swing room to breathe!

8 Ways To Build Swing

SAVE THIS ⬇️ Most golfers try to swing harder for more distance. But speed actually comes from better sequence and mechanics. 8 Ways To Build Swing Speed 1️⃣ Use the ground Speed starts from the ground up. Push into the ground first, then let the force travel up through your body. 2️⃣ Create real coil If your chest and hips turn together, you’re capped. Build separation so the upper body loads against the lower. 3️⃣ Shift before you spin Pressure moves into the lead side before the body opens. This creates space and speed. 4️⃣ Up → Down → Up sequence You load up in the backswing, pressure moves down in transition, then you extend through impact. 5️⃣ Create lag in transition Throwing the club from the top feels fast but kills speed. Let the club fall behind you first. 6️⃣ Control the clubface An open face forces flips and stalls. A stable face lets you rotate aggressively. 7️⃣ Train speed Overspeed training (speed sticks, etc.) teaches your nervous system to move faster. 8️⃣ Sequence the swing Speed comes from the right order: lower body → torso → arms → club. Fix the order, and speed shows up. Comment “COACH” if you want help adding speed to your swing 💪

You don’t need better swing positions. You need a sequenced nervous system. If your body hasn’t trained the load and unload from the ground up, your swing will always feel inconsistent. One day it’s pure. The next day it’s gone. That’s not a mechanics issue. It’s a sequencing issue. Until your nervous system knows how to organize force, transfer it, and release it under speed… you’ll keep searching for fixes. I don’t train positions. I train athleticism. If you want fluid motion with repeatable speed, you have to train your brain to get your body to be athletic, not just your swing. That’s the difference. And that’s exactly what I focus on with my clients through my coaching programs.
