MIHere’s my comparison between a Trackman and a Rapsodo launch monitor! I’m not sponsored by either so this is a completely unbiased review! Obviously a trackman is better because it has more features and it is more accurate across every golf shot. The PGA tour players all use one so that should be enough for you there in terms of quality. That being said, not many of us have 25k usd to blow on golf stuff so the Rapsodo is good enough for the price! You do require a subscription for both. It’s around 3000 per year for the trackman and 270 for the Rapsodo.

The biggest thing for me though is that the spin rates are really unreliable for a Rapsodo, and that can really affect distance. If you use the Rapsodo on the range with bad balls, you’re going to get a number of different distances because some will read with a lot of spin and others will read with very little. If you use the tracer balls on the course you’ll get very accurate numbers. For 800$ though, it’s a pretty solid launch monitor.
