Training Tips 💡 The Deadlift 🏋🏾‍♂️💪🏾 The deadlift is a staple of most strength-training programs, and it’s one of the three lifts I use in my training program 💪🏾If you want to maximize your strength-training improvements, deadlifts and their variations are key exercises to include throughout your training. Key Note 📝 1. Never round your back while deadlifting. That’s a recipe for spinal injuries and lower back pulls and strains. 2. Your Hips Are Rising Too Fast. Instead, lift your shoulders and hips at the same rate. At the start of the lift, develop tension through your hamstrings and glutes. Focus on driving your heels through the floor and pulling with your upper back. 3. Keep your elbows locked while deadlifting. Your arms should remain straight throughout the movement.
