I went in skeptical, but Elite’s “Abs for Lunch” class was 🔥. She was so hands-on it felt like a semi-private, and I was sore for three days. The studio itself? Think glass-walled penthouse meets quiet luxury: pristine, chic, and full of cool uptown girls + polished UES moms. Also loved the cold towels at the end. Don’t forget your grippies!
The vibe was NOT intimidating. The front desk staff were so nice and it was welcoming.

FAUES - Extra Heavyweight Flannel (Red)
I own a few Heavyweight Flannels from UES but I was told the Extra Heavyweight was special. I had to find out for myself, so I placed an order on the UES site for this red one. As soon as I received the package I knew it was the real deal by just the weight of the DHL bag. This flannel is a 15.5oz fabric which makes it one of the thickest flannels in the world. The 15.5oz fabric has been woven using an old weaving machine named Schoenherr. This machine does not excessively pull the thread and so produces the soft texture. The inside of the flannel is brushed and feels very soft and warm to the touch. The main body seams have been rolled and triple-chain-stitched, thus producing a strong garment that can be used for a long time. A piping process was used to obtain a sturdy rolled hem as well. This flannel has a similar construction and fit as my Indigo Tricotine. I now understand what all the fuss was about. I think it is fair to say that if I had to save up and buy only one flannel it would be this one. You get that top tier quality at a fair price. Once again, you can never go wrong with UES.
