Everyone sees the result at the end. But they don’t see the nights you cried quietly, the mornings you forced yourself to try again, the sacrifices, the fear, the pressure. USMLE Step 2 taught me that strength isn’t loud, sometimes it’s just surviving the day and believing you can look at your books tomorrow. This reel is a small piece of a journey that changed me. Grateful for the growth, the patience, the resilience… and for making it through. #usmle #usmlestep2 #usmleprep #residency #mbbs #study #medstudentlife

Most students don’t fail Step 1 because they’re lazy. They fail because they overload themselves with resources and lose focus. If you want a clear, proven, high-yield approach, this is it 👇 🔹 First Aid + UWorld → your foundation (non-negotiable) 🔹 Pathoma (Ch 1–3) → disease mechanisms made simple 🔹 Sketchy → Micro & Pharma that actually sticks 🔹 Bootcamp or BnB → pick ONE for concepts (don’t mix) 🔹 Dirty Medicine → last-minute clarity 🔹 Randy Neil → Biostats & Ethics explained the right way 🔹 NBMEs → learn the exam pattern (aim 65–70%+) 🔹 Last 2 weeks: Mehlman notes + Anatomy 100 concepts No magic tricks. No unnecessary resources. Just disciplined execution of the right material. If you can afford it, short crash courses (like the one from @the.match.guy @malkeasaad highly recommended) can help but if you master what’s listed here, you can pass confidently. Save this for revision Share with a Step 1 partner Consistency > motivation This exam is tough but it’s very predictable when prepared correctly. @the.match.guy @uworldmedical @sketchylearning #DoctorsAbroad#globaldoctordental #usa #usmleprep #usmlestep1

Study strategies that actually work in med school 🩺⬇️ Work smarter, not harder! Here is what I have done to improve my productivity in medical school: ✨Invest in a good study space that will help you feel comfortable, focused & motivated while you study ✨Use First Aid to figure out what is high yield BEFORE you start studying your class materials ✨Draw out the important concepts, pathways, and diseases using color coded notesheets ✨Use visual mnemonics to help you memorize the information (and make studying more fun lol) ✨Use Anki consistently in a way that works well for you - Have some free time this weekend? I just posted a new YouTube video about the study strategies I wish I had known before starting medical school 🩺📚 The video is sponsored by @Picmonic, and I share a discount code in the video’s description that can get you 20% off any Picmonic subscription for med school, MCAT & USMLE prep, NCLEX and nursing school, and more 🫶🏼 The 🔗 is in my Instagram story: linkopener.co/BAMl #premed #medstudent #medicalschool #prehealth #premedlife #medmotivation #medicalstudent #futuredoctor #premedstudent #premedmotivation #medlife #medstudents #medstudentlife #medschoolmotivation #medschool

1. Consistency is key. Studying every day, even if it's only for 3-4 hours, is much better than spamming as much as you can every day. You'll get burnt out that way. 2. Book your eligibility period with as much time to postpone your exam as you can. If you're planning on doing it in February, your eligibility period should be Feb —> April. 3. Don't take on too many study resources, unless it's been proven to be specifically beneficial (e.g. Pathoma chapters 1-3 for step 1). Also, for step 1, you'll probably study from UWorld, Pathoma, NBME, first aid, and more. But for steps 2 and 3, you kind of stick to only a couple and try to master them. 4. First Aid USMLE Step 1 and Pathoma are the only two books you're going to actually need. You can get others, but they're not really necessary. 5. Delete reddit from your phone 3 months before your exam. Reddit posts and what you see online is NOT a good way to judge your performance. It's only a minority who post on reddit and people are always comparing, which leads them to self-doubt, hence poor exam performance. 6. You need to prioritize time to cool off/practice a hobby/work out without feeling guilty. Just like you're giving it your all while studying, you need to enjoy your leisure time for yourself without any guilt. 7. DON’T get discouraged by low nome scores. It's a process and you're hot supposed to get it right the first time or the second. Trust the process. 8. Try not to do any nome exams offline. At least do the last 2-3 you're going to do online. This is because it gives you a thorough explanation of your results and has a strict time limit. Let me know if you guys have any questions. You got this! #usmle #medschool #medstudent #usmlestep1 #usmlestep2 #usmleprep #medicalstudent

Save this for later✨🤍. 1)Amboss: It’s a gem for USMLE prep. With detailed explanations and interactive features, especially the ethics part is great resource 👍 . 2)Pathoma: Comprehensive coverage, especially the initial fundamental chapters are so important. Very high yeild. Do watch the videos too along with the book. . 3) Boards and beyond: I can’t explain in words how much boards and beyond has helped me build concepts. The diagrams, charts are easy to grasp and the contents are well organized as well. Highly recommended 🙌 . . . #usmle #medschool
