I’m the angel that doesn’t stop picking up the phone once she gets paid.
I’m the one who shows homes, negotiates contracts, goes to inspections, explains the process, and changes her plans when her clients need her.
And let me tell you why this matters so much to me…
Yesterday I got a call from another agent who needed me to translate for an older gentleman who was in the process of vacating his home after it was sold. Possession was not explained to him correctly. He and his wife are elderly and were literally trying to figure out where they were supposed to go and when.
And where was his Realtor?
Nowhere to be found.
That agent already got paid… and still left his client in an effed up situation. And that really bothered me. Because your job does NOT end when the deal closes. That is still your client. That is still your responsibility.
Those people trusted you with their home, their money, and a huge moment in their life. You don’t just disappear after you get your commission.
And what bothered me even more?
It was a Spanish-speaking couple who clearly did not fully understand what was happening.
