📌 Inside Rogers’ Chocolates on Government Street there’s a crack in the glass display case
📌 It was caused years ago by an impatient customer… who hit it with her cane SO HARD on the display case while waiting for chocolate (Honestly? She wasn’t wrong — it is that good)
📌 Sooo...Instead of replacing the original glass, Rogers kept it and added a plaque
📌 It now serves as a reminder of customer service + history- she got her chocolate
📌The shop dates back to 1903 and is a designated historic building
📌Original tile, stained glass, old tools, and even a hidden spy hole still remain ( its so cool)

I've always been enchanted by the beauty of Victoria, BC. Having been here twice as a child, I still remember dreaming of staying at the stunning Fairmont Empress by the harbor. Now, here we are, celebrating our anniversary with a magical high tea experience!
The Fairmont has been serving Afternoon Tea since the early 1900s, and no matter who you are, you'll feel like royalty. The service was fantastic, and the tea—absolutely divine.
We even hit up the shop afterward, where you can grab some of their exclusive world-class tea collection and the tea pots ❤️

This shop is said to be haunted by the Rogers family. Guests have claimed to see their spirits, and some have even reported milk chocolate being thrown at them! (Charles hated milk chocolate 😮💨🍫)
