in & out day in philly. steal this itinerary. flower show ends 3/8 🚆 amtrak was $43 round trip from dc. (earlier you book the cheaper the fare) under two hours, no traffic, no parking stress. blink and you’re in a different city. 🌸 the philadelphia flower show @phsgardening (limited time only ends 3/8). tickets were $53 pp and it’s the largest indoor flower show in the country. installations are massive and immersive with dramatic lighting. it feels less like a garden and more like walking through living art. 🚉 walk straight across to @rdgterminalmkt it’s been open since 1893 and is one of the oldest public markets in the country. over 80 local vendors..chaotic in the best way. most spots have credit card minimums, so come prepared with cash. 🥟 chinatown is non-negotiable. we devoured lychee martinis and 20 soup dumplings from @jiangnan_pa @jiangnan.official (michelin recommended) bring cash or use venmo for the bakeries (mayflower bakery & new siu kee [whole duck for $33]) ❤️ and before heading back, you still have time to see both love sculptures and actually wander a little. that’s the part that makes it feel like a trip instead of an errand. 8 hours. $43 train. $53 show ticket. different city energy. back home by night. this is what i mean when i say weekends don’t need to be complicated. save this for this weekend or your next spontaneous day trip ✈️ follow @liajaeeee for more trips that make sense #phillydaytrip #visitphilly #amtrak #thingstodophilly #philadelphiaflowershow

[SAVE + SHARE] 📍 1016 Race St., Philly Located right in Chinatown Opens February 8th, 2026 Brought to you by @apeganggarci owner of @carterssteaksphilly We have @thesquarephilly which is adding more businesses. I was invited by @theyummypalacee to try her amazing desserts from a variety of banana puddings, including a banana pudding nacho which was out of this world and original. @mirandaaaaaj is the owner and her family business includes all types of treats including homemade ice cream and water ice. This is the one. It will rival many of your favorites here in Philly. Please believe me! Next up, I was greeted by @pretttyeatz and she had the sticky, tasty, cooked to perfection wings. She was a bit shy for the camera and totally understandable. Sis was working in the kitchen and not ready for her closeup. But she also makes a variety of Alfredo bowls with all types of protein. Thank you for packing me up. Last but certainly not least, the ladies over at @halalbyiman served up a sample platter just for me. This is not on their menu, but I think they need to reconsider. From cabbage and collard greens, to yams and Mac and cheese, to fried fish, smothered turkey chops, two different types of wings (the little ones, not the bigs), to fried rolls — they had to roll me up out of there. Maybe we can call it the Figi.Rated platter? I’m just saying… Thank you for having me. Wish I could’ve stayed longer just to laugh some more, but I’ll be back. Y’all go out and support these businesses! Yes, it’s cold and there’s a lot taking place in the world AND these businesses need to thrive. A few fun facts you probably didn’t know: • You don’t have to golf ⛳️ It is honestly just a really fun place to hang • There’s a full restaurant + bar on site at Little Horse Tavern @littlehorsetavern • 100% of proceeds go back into the local community • The campus supports the TGR Learning Lab @tgrll_philadelphia where Philly kids can go after school for free programs focused on academics, life skills, mentorship, and exposure to new opportunities This one feels special and like it’s only going to get better from here. 👏 Save this + go! #thingstodoinphilly #westphilly #phillyhiddengems #cobbscreek #visitphilly
