COCoaches accept missed crosses
What they don’t accept is:
• Not creating chances at all
• Playing safe every time you receive it
• Refusing to take your fullback on
• Staying wide but never being dangerous
• Poor movement when the ball is on the opposite side
• Jogging back instead of pressing
• Not attacking the back post
• Delivering without intent
Beating your man is part of the job.
Putting the ball in dangerous areas is the standard.
Wingers don’t get benched for missing.
They get benched for being predictable.
