They have a nice back section with a huge screen for people that want to watch football and relax. We enjoyed their meals so much, their portion sizes are good and really great customer service! Yes, I finally went to Gusto!! So In another episode of checking out new restaurants that have popped up in Abuja, @hadiza.eats and I found out way here! Located in the heart of Wuse 2, the restaurant gives off this upscale vibe! I loved the ambience in the indoor sitting area as well as how different the outdoor sitting area was - it was more bright and had this beachside bar feel. Their menu is quite extensive, anyway for food we had: - Beef Steak Donburi N10,000 - Sesame Chicken Noodle N12,000 - Creme Brûlée French Toast N8,000 - Soda N1,000 - Water N2,000 Price is exclusive of VAT & service charge and as at Jan 13th 2023 I personally loved the flavours from the noodles but the Donburi was disappointing. It needed the help of the veggies from the noodles to salvage it. I loved the custard in the French toast but overall it got sickly sweet at some point! If you have a sweet tooth, you would love this. The service was basic and decent. Nothing to complain about. Generally, it may be pricey for average diner so pls check out their menu online or their page so you don’t wash plate. We didn’t have drinks as we used the money to eat Amala afterwards but they start at N7,000 Ever been to @gusto_abuja ?? Are you loving this series of checking out new restaurants? Would you dine in this cave? @kapadoccia_lagos recently launched a restaurant in Lagos and here’s what it looks like 🥰 For someone who has been to the Abuja restaurant I must say we got a bigger and finer Lagos outlet 🥰 From the entrance to the space indoors, outdoors and even upstairs……so so beautiful! You can’t drive past and not wonder what happens inside! Although the indoor decor is consistent with the one in Abuja, the designer did a good work on the outdoor area. Oh and there’s a love carved section upstairs for you lovebirds 🥰 Would you like to dine here? Update- We re-visited the one and only Edo restaurant @_agobor_junior_restaurant in Abuja to try out their new addition 😍 Olenle! IYKYK!!! Which is a kind of beans, just smaller and it’s absolutely delicious when cooked right! They have authentic Edo dishes like black soup, pepper leaf rice which should not be mistaken for ofada rice o!, because it’s in lead doesn’t mean it’s same 😂 ! And so many more Nigerian dishes! We had the native black soup with pounded yam, pepper leaf rice, native oil rice and catfish pepper soup. 💰 Prices of the meals we had: Pounded yam N2000 Black soup N2000 Bushmeat N8000 Oil rice N3000 Kpomo N2500 Fish N3000 Cowhead N3000 Pepper rice N2000 Assorted N3000 Olenle N3000 Beans N1000 Plantain N1000 Bowl of Pepper soup (full fish) N16,500 Egg 🥚 N500 📌Note: The new addition olenle is served every Wednesday, they’re also served in 1 litre bowls and above for sale. It’s a must try if you haven’t. Good meals especially Edo meals are not common in Abuja and this location is very lovely, you should definitely give them a try! They open Mondays - Saturdays, 9am - 9pm. 📍 Location: Along Federal Housing Road, after army estate, Kubwa Abuja (Agobor Junior restaurant is accurate on the map)
