Crazy ads: Day 74/100 Do you know, Pulse Candy once realised their three flavours accidentally match the colours of a traffic signal, and they used this small coincidence to advertise in a really fun way? See, everyone knows the original green Pulse candy. But Pulse also has two other flavours - red and yellow. Which means they basically have all three traffic light colours! So Pulse decided to do something fun with this. At a busy intersection in Delhi, they put up a display that looked like a traffic signal - but with Pulse candies instead of traffic lights. Here’s how it worked: When the signal turned red, the red Pulse candy would light up. When the signal was yellow, the yellow candy would light up, and similarly for green. Now, to be fair, this wasn’t some huge campaign. It was quite small and localised. But I think what was smart here was the idea itself. Because think about it -we all stare at traffic signals multiple times every single day. And Pulse found a way to turn that boring waiting time into a moment where people would actually notice and remember their new flavours. I think that’s quite clever. What do you think?
