The history of #photography began with the discovery of two critical principles: The first is camera obscura image projection, the second is the discovery that some substances are visibly altered by exposure to light[2]. There are no artifacts or descriptions that indicate any attempt to capture images with light sensitive materials prior to the 18th century. View from the Window at Le Gras 1826 or 1827, believed to be the earliest surviving camera photograph.[1] Original (left) and colorized reoriented enhancement (right). Around 1717, Johann Heinrich Schulze used a light-sensitive slurry to capture images of cut-out letters on a bottle. However, he did not pursue making these results permanent. Around 1800, Thomas Wedgwood made the first reliably documented, although unsuccessful attempt at capturing camera images in permanent form. His experiments did produce detailed photograms, but Wedgwood and his associate Humphry Davy found no way to fix these images. In 1826, Nicéphore Niépce first managed to fix an image that was captured with a camera, but at least eight hours or even several days of exposure in the camera were required and the earliest results were very crude. Niépce's associate Louis Daguerre went on to develop the daguerreotype process, the first publicly announced and commercially viable photographic process. The daguerreotype required only minutes of exposure in the camera, and produced clear, finely detailed results. On August 2, 1839 Daguerre demonstrated the details of the process to the Chamber of Peers in Paris. On August 19 the technical details were made public in a meeting of the Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Fine Arts in the Palace of Institute. (For granting the rights of the inventions to the public, Daguerre and Niépce were awarded generous annuities for life.)[3][4][5] When the metal based daguerreotype process was demonstrated formally to the public, the competitor approach of paper-based calotype negative and salt print processes invented by William Henry Fox Talbot was already demonstrated in London (but with less publicity).[5] Subsequent innovations made photography easier and more versatile.

Fresh fish is better than packaged, processed fish because it keeps its natural nutrients, texture, and flavor intact. Fresh fish is rich in high-quality protein and omega-3 fatty acids that haven’t been altered by heavy processing. It also contains fewer additives, preservatives, and excess sodium. Processed or packaged fish often goes through freezing, curing, or chemical treatment, which can reduce nutritional quality and change texture. Many products add salt, oils, or preservatives to extend shelf life, which lowers the overall health value. Choosing fresh fish gives your body cleaner nutrition, better fats, and higher food quality with fewer unwanted extras.

Follow (us) @BloopersBits for more behind the scenes! 🍿🎬 Respect 👏 🎬 Spider-Man (2002) brought Marvel’s iconic hero to the big screen under director Sam Raimi. Starring Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker, the film follows a shy high school student who gains spider like abilities after being bitten by a genetically altered spider. As he learns to balance power with responsibility, he faces the dangerous Green Goblin, played by Willem Dafoe. The movie blends emotional coming of age themes with large scale action and helped launch the modern superhero era. Its upside down kiss scene with Kirsten Dunst became one of the most recognizable moments in comic book film history.

Dogs regaining consciousness following anesthesia produce behavioral responses so genuinely disorienting to witness that veterinary staff consider owner preparation standard practice—the combination of neurological confusion, physical discoordination, and emotional dysregulation creating a version of their familiar pet that appears fundamentally altered in ways that resolve completely but look alarming during the transition back to normal consciousness. Anesthetic recovery in dogs follows neurological reactivation sequences that don't restore brain function uniformly across all systems simultaneously. Brainstem functions governing breathing and basic reflexes return first, followed progressively by limbic emotional processing, motor coordination systems, and finally higher cortical functions governing normal behavioral inhibition and social awareness. Dogs in mid-recovery exist in neurological states where emotional responses are fully active but the cortical regulation normally moderating their expression hasn't yet come back online—producing unfiltered emotional displays that owners find distressing precisely because they're seeing their dog's feelings without the normal behavioral packaging. Vocalization patterns during anesthetic recovery reveal limbic system reactivation preceding cortical awareness with particular clarity. Dogs crying, howling, or producing distress vocalizations immediately following anesthesia are expressing genuine emotional states—disorientation, physical discomfort, and social anxiety—through systems that have reactivated before the cognitive processing that would normally contextualize and moderate these responses has recovered sufficiently to provide reassurance or behavioral control. The sounds are emotionally real even when cognitively unanchored. Physical discoordination during recovery reflects cerebellar reactivation lag behind motor intention systems. Dogs attempting to stand and walk before full cerebellar function has returned experience genuine disconnect between movement intention and movement execution—their brains generating normal walking commands that their incompletely recovered coordination systems...

Follow @THEALPHAOVERLOADS FOR MORE 😂 when your handler stops to talk to someone for way too long 😂 During a Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) game, the Kia Tigers mascot, known for his animated personality, became an unexpected star when he humorously altered his eyebrow expressions out of boredom. As the game was delayed or the action on the field stalled, the mascot, tired of waiting, decided to entertain the crowd in his own unique way. The mascot playfully changed the position and expression of his large, cartoonish eyebrows, making exaggerated gestures that amused fans both in the stadium and online. The video of this impromptu moment quickly went viral, showcasing the mascot’s creativity and bringing a light-hearted touch to the game. This incident highlighted how mascots often play a crucial role in maintaining the energy and spirit of live sports events, even during less exciting moments. #reels #comedy #funny #baseball #olympics

🇫🇷“STOP IMMIGRATION” – What’s behind the sprayed stop signs in France? In recent weeks, stop signs have been appearing across France with the word “IMMIGRATION” spray-painted in red just below the official “STOP.” Videos and photos of these altered signs have been circulating widely on social media. The slogan is being used by activists protesting against migration, attempting to spread their message virally. Such incidents reflect a broader trend of right-wing and anti-immigration sentiment emerging in parts of Europe. In particular, groups opposed to migrant movements along France’s Channel coast have adopted these visual tactics to attract public attention. In France—as in many other countries—these kinds of alterations are illegal: road signs are part of public safety infrastructure and must not be defaced or modified. #France #StopImmigration #Migration #News @europe.awake
