My kids BEG for this. 🍝 Hidden veggies! ✨✨ Comment PLAN to grab my brand new, free non-toxic cancer protocol guide + anti-cancer grocery list and habit checklist printables! 🤩 ➡️ Comment THRIVE (separate comment) to join my anticancer coaching membership with the world's first anti-cancer focused library of recipes +tons more! 🤩 Cancer Prevention Spaghetti 😍 (I have a large family of 8, so this recipe will serve about 10 servings or you can freeze leftovers!) ➡️ Ingredients: 6 carrots diced tiny or shredded 1/4 head purple cabbage, shredded 1/2 onion, chopped 4 Roma tomatoes, crushed 1 Tbsp dried basil 1 Tbsp dried oregano 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 1 Tbsp chopped garlic (I used organic jarred for ease but fresh is best for anti-cancer benefits) ➡️ Directions: 1. Process all veggies in a food processor or chop VERY small (important for picky eaters)  2. Saute’ first 4 veggies and all spices in water until very soft (about 15-20 minutes.) Reduce to low, cover, and allow to steam. May need to add more water to avoid sticking to the pan. 3. Add garlic in and saute or steam for 5 more minutes.  4. Add in 2-3 cups of any protein of choice. Cooked lentils are the most anti-cancer, but sometimes I will do cooked organic ground turkey or grass-fed bison or beef.  5. Add in 2 quarts of any organic jarred marinara of your choice. Low sugar is great if you can find it. The carrots actually make this a bit sweeter than normal and the kids love it! Mix and enjoy! We love serving with organic angel hair pasta or zucchini noodles! 🍝🍝🍝 #anticancerrecipes #cancerprevention #cancersurvivor

Sprouts are complete little powerhouses that pack such a strong punch for your body and overall health. Comment ✨SEEDS✨ for a link to the seeds I buy and sprouting jars and lids) ❗️Broccoli sprouts contain 100 times the amount of sulforaphane than mature broccoli. Sulforaphane stimulates something called NRF2- which “turns on” over 200 anti inflammatory and anti oxidant genes to help heal the body on the deepest level. This can help prevent things like cancer and many other diseases. ❗️(I can send the source to this if you’d like!) How to: (it is INCREDIBLY simple) 1. Add 2 TBS of seeds to a quart sized jar and cover completely with water 2. Soak 6-8 hours 3. Gently rinse and drain seeds thoroughly 4. Set the jar upside down on an angle so the excess water can drain 5. Repeat step 4 2-3 times a day for 2-4 days or until you can see that the sprouts are completely sprouted! That’s it! 6. Line a glass dish with an airtight lid with a paper towel and store sprouts in the fridge for about a week. Note: during the sprouting process you may see little white fuzz on the sprouts- this is ok! Just rinse and drain as normal. Polyphenols appear to be beneficial for brain functioning and boost BDNF (brain derived neurotrophic factor), which protects the brain and nervous system. Decreased levels of BDNF are associated with neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. 2. Whole grain intake is linked to a decreased risk of several types of chronic diseases including cardiovascular diseases, obesity, cancers and type II diabetes. 3. Whole grains help slow the release of sugar into the bloodstream thereby steadying blood sugar levels. 4. Whole grains help prevent constipation by keeping stool soft and bulky. Florida betony is a good example of this because the root looks like a colon and scientists have shown that this root is indeed anticancer against colon cancer. The root contains pectin-type polysaccharides that form a gel like substance in the colon and reduce inflammation. This root also feeds the microbiome. I will eat this root predominately and will eventually only eat wild food from the land in the coming days as we move into the spring season. This seasonal transition, winter to spring, is all about ligthening the load and reducing inflammation. Follow for more tips.
