Does Apache Junction actually need this? A 65,000 sq ft manufacturing facility just broke ground near Tomahawk Rd and US 60 and it’s the largest industrial project Apache Junction has ever had. Sundt Construction isn’t some random name either. They’ve been in Arizona since 1929 and have built major Valley infrastructure like the Loop 202. Now they’re betting on Apache Junction. Why here? Simple. Land + location. Most of the East Valley is tapped out. Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler are basically full. AJ still has room to grow and sits right on US 60 with direct access across the metro. This project brings roughly 100 jobs across manufacturing, engineering, and office roles, with space left over to expand later. City leaders are openly saying they want more advanced manufacturing out here. Semiconductors. Aerospace. Industrial suppliers. So what do you think… Is Apache Junction turning into the next East Valley growth corridor, or is this the wrong move for the city long term? Curious what locals think on this one 👀 I’m Brad Armstrong, a local realtor, and I stay on top of what’s happening around the Valley so you don’t miss a thing. 📲 Follow for updates just like this 🏡 Thinking about buying or selling this year? 💬 DM me "MOVE" to find out what your move looks like in this current market. #ApacheJunctionAZ #EastValleyAZ #ArizonaDevelopment #US60 #PinalCount

This is what I learned 👇🏼 I learned that the Phoenix metro is HUGE!! I knew I was moving to the 5th largest city in America but didn’t realize how spread out it was! Before moving to AZ I heard of Phoenix and not much else, but there are many other cities within the Phoenix metro! Each with their own unique vibe and charm! Taking the time to learn more about cities I was unfamiliar with was the best thing I could have done! Phoenix is spread out via a west side and east side. We found home in the East Valley but again didn’t realize how many cities there were to explore! There is some debate on how far east valley goes but for the most part the following cities fall within the East Valley! • East side of Phoenix (split down the middle) • Scottsdale • Paradise Valley • Gilbert •Chandler • Mesa • Queen Creek • Fountain Hills • Tempe • San Tan Valley • Apache Junction We found the perfect community for us that fit our needs and truly felt like home and that is different for everyone! If you are looking to make a move to Arizona specially east valley Phoenix comment “🌄” and I’ll send you my “moving to East valley Phoenix guide” where I’ve put together helpful info on all the East valley cities all in one place!! (Because it can be a lot with all the options available!) For those of you who are new here! Hi! 👋🏻 I’m Hali, a local realtor who moved to Arizona and fell in love with my city! So much so that now I spend my days passionately helping others find their home here in the valley and cannot wait to help you too!! 🤍 And don’t forget to click that follow button!! @haliflickinger @haliflickinger @haliflickinger #movingtogilbert #movingtogilbertaz #movingtoarizona #movingtoaz #movingtophoenix #iwanttomovetoarizona #immovingtoarizona #livinginaz #livinginarizona #livingingilbertaz #livinginscottsdale #movingtoscottsdale #movingtochandleraz #arizonarealestate #arizonarealestateagent #arizonarealtor #gilbertaz #scottsdaleaz #phoenix #gilbertarizona ##gilbertazrealestate #gilbertazrealtor #scottsdaleazrealestate #scottsdaleazrealtor #arizonalife #arizonaliving #arizonalifestyle

What happened??? Can someone tell me what went wrong? https://beacons.ai/rtnbroadcasting 2025 Kawasaki ZX6R WITHOUT ABS. **Tortilla Flat** (often written as one word or two) is a tiny, historic **unincorporated community** in Arizona, tucked away in the Superstition Mountains along the scenic **Apache Trail** (State Route 88). It's about 45-60 minutes east of the Phoenix metro area (like from Glendale or Mesa), making it a popular day trip spot for locals and visitors. It's famous as Arizona's smallest official "community" — population averages around **4-6 people**, with a post office and voting precinct. Founded around 1904 as a stagecoach stop and later a camp during the construction of Theodore Roosevelt Dam, it's the last surviving stagecoach stop on the Apache Trail. A big flood in 1942 damaged it heavily, but the core spots survived. Today, it's a fun, kitschy Old West-style tourist stop with: - **Superstition Saloon & Restaurant** — Known for burgers, chili, cold drinks, prickly pear cactus ice cream, and dollar-bill-covered walls from visitors worldwide. - A country store/general store. - Gift shop/mercantile. - Small museum. - Sometimes a BBQ patio with live music (seasonal, especially cooler months). It's a great spot for families, motorcycle rides (the winding road is highly rated), hikers exploring the Superstition Mountains or Lost Dutchman legends, or anyone wanting a break from the city. Nearby you have Canyon Lake for boating/fishing, and the whole drive offers stunning desert views, bridges, and saguaro cacti. Since you're in Glendale, AZ, it's an easy scenic drive out there — head east on US-60 to Apache Junction, then north on SR-88. Just note the road gets curvy and narrow past a certain point. If you're thinking of the John Steinbeck novel *Tortilla Flat* (set in Monterey, CA), or a Mexican restaurant somewhere else, let me know — but given your location, this Arizona gem seems the most likely match! Have you been there before, or planning a visit?

This may be controversial but... While new-home sales are softening nationally, Arizona’s master-planned communities are quietly doing something different: holding their ground, and in some cases, surging. According to the Phoenix Business Journal, two Arizona communities landed in RCLCO’s Top 50 Master-Planned Communities nationwide, even as overall U.S. sales slowed. Here’s what stood out 👇 🏗 Radiance at Superstition Vistas (Apache Junction) • Ranked #21 nationally • 596 homes sold in 2025 • Sales jumped 17% year over year 🏡 Bella Vista Farms (San Tan Valley) • Ranked #34 nationally • 446 homes sold in 2025 • Thousands of future lots already planned That kind of performance isn’t accidental. According to RCLCO, Arizona continues to outperform because well-located, well-planned communities still meet what buyers want right now: ✅ More affordable entry points than infill areas ✅ Newer homes with modern layouts ✅ Amenities that support daily life (parks, trails, pools, schools) ✅ Space — especially for growing families and relocators And it’s not just one buyer type driving demand. Developers report strong interest from: • First-time buyers • Move-up and downsizing households • Out-of-state buyers relocating to Arizona Even neighboring communities like Blossom Rock at Superstition Vistas saw sales jump 80%+ year over year, with steady, qualified buyer traffic. The takeaway? Arizona isn’t immune to market shifts, but master-planned communities are proving more resilient than many expected. When affordability, design, and lifestyle line up, buyers still show up. If you’re watching new construction in Arizona, this is a reminder: The right communities don’t just survive slower markets, they separate themselves. Curious to see what new construction is for sale in these thriving communities? Comment NEW HOMES and I’ll send you a list of what’s available in both of the mentioned communities. Have you heard of State Route 360? When the Superstition Freeway was built in the early 1970s, it was intended to be the route for SR 360, a new highway spanning the East Valley. It was constructed east from I-10 in Tempe, reaching SR 87/Country Club Drive by 1980, Power Road by the mid-80s and ending in Apache Junction. But in 1991, US 60 was realigned from its previous path, running along what is now Apache Boulevard/Main Street in Mesa, and shifted down to SR 360, eliminating that numbered highway. (Sidenote: The former US 60 alignment is why Main Street in Mesa is sometimes referred to as “Old US 60.”) US 60 now runs from Western Arizona to Wickenburg and follows Grand Avenue into Phoenix, where it runs along I-17 and I-10 before turning into the Superstition Freeway. From there, US 60 continues east through Globe, Show Low and into New Mexico. SR 360 has been mostly forgotten to time, but it lives on in our photolog archives, which were used to create this video. (Sidenote: can you guess why each song was used?)
