The funny part is it’s her that wanted to do a look on me for her portfolio & we weren’t gonna take professional pictures so this was only benefiting her given that this wasn’t paid. But once she told me to change the look of my eyebrows I had to immediately say “no” because how i choose to have my eyebrows is a part of my brand, my identity. The reason why I wanted to share this, is because in the beginning of my modeling career, I would say yes to everything and I was afraid to speak up for myself. But now, the moment that I see something coming, I put a stop to it immediately. So, if you are an aspiring model know when to say no to things & don’t change yourself for no agency or anything unless it’s something you really want to & no you won’t loose opportunities! #nycmodels #modelsnyc #beautymodels
