Read here⬇️ 1.Don’t notice This shows confidence and emotional independence. By not acknowledging her behavior, you avoid giving her the satisfaction of knowing it affects you. Continue with your daily routine as if nothing has changed. Respond to her messages (if any) with the same frequency and tone as before. If others mention her behavior, downplay it and change the subject. 2.Enjoy Other People’s Company Spend time with friends, family, and colleagues to show that you have a fulfilling life outside of your interactions with her. This demonstrates your social value and that you are not dependent on her for happiness. 3.Make Sure She Sees You Living an Awesome Life Without Her Showcase your active and enjoyable lifestyle. By doing so, you subtly communicate that you are thriving and have many interests and passions that don’t revolve around her. Follow Us For More @datingbud 4.If She Comes Back, Call Her Out If she starts reaching out again after ignoring you, address her behavior directly and assertively. This sets boundaries and shows that you respect yourself too much to be treated poorly.

Ever had someone speak to you in a way that felt condescending? How do you react? Instead of snapping back or shrinking, try this: (Jefferson Fisher shares this brilliant strategy in his soon-to-be-published book, The Next Conversation.) ✅ Pause and say, “Sorry, I didn’t catch that - could you repeat it?” This makes them sit with their own words. Most people realize how off they sound. If they double down, follow up with: – “What did you mean by that?” – “Was that meant to be helpful or hurtful?” Now they have to explain. You stay calm, confident, and in control. Jefferson Fisher (@jefferson_fisher ) is a master at this. His book makes you rethink how you communicate everywhere. It had me reflecting on things I’ve said, things I didn’t say, and things I could have said better. I read it cover to cover on a recent flight - couldn’t put it down. So many valuable takeaways for how to handle tough conversations. If you want to improve how you communicate, pre-order a copy (jeffersonfisher.com/book - it’s published on the 18th). You won’t regret it. P.S. How do you usual react when someone says something condescending or belittling? #communication #communicationtips

🧠 How to respond to condescending comments at work Belittling or condescending comments can be especially difficult to handle when they come from someone more senior. We often don’t want to create unnecessary conflict, but staying silent can come at a cost. In those moments, we might respond with passive aggression or keep how we’re feeling bottled up. But that often leaves the situation unaddressed and the pattern is likely to repeat. The reality is, we have to teach people how to treat us. That includes calmly and clearly stating what we will and won’t tolerate. In this scenario, I’d recommend starting with respectful, direct language that sets a boundary: “Thank you for clarifying that. Can you call me Claire instead of little missy? I’d feel more comfortable with that.” If it happens again, you can respond more assertively. Often, a simple clear response like the one in this video is enough to shift the dynamic. How would you approach a situation like this? I’d love to hear what you’d add to help handle it constructively. ➕ Follow @missclairebenjamin for practical strategies on navigating tricky work dynamics. 📌 Please remember, the advice in this video is generalised. Use your judgement and adapt it to suit your own situation.
