The way it is being built and deployed is also deepening racial inequality and expanding discriminatory digital surveillance in Black communities. That is not innovation. That is biased practices with better marketing. AI is already shaping our jobs, our schools, and the safety of our families. If we are not paying attention, decisions about our communities will keep being made by systems that were never designed with us in mind. Last week, our partners at @techtonicjustice, @350org, @younggiftedgreen, and @theajayieffect joined us to talk about what is really at stake and how communities can take control of their digital safety. The question is simple: Do we let biased systems quietly shape our future, or do we demand accountability?
