Bed bugs are a very common problem in the UK, and they’re very difficult to get rid of! 👉🏽Bedbugs are small insects that often live on furniture or bedding. Their bites can be itchy, but do not usually cause other health problems. 3 tips: 👉🏽Check bed frames, mattresses, clothing, furniture, behind pictures and under loose wallpaper. 👉🏽If you have been bitten - put something cool, like a clean, damp cloth, on the affected area to help with the itching and any swelling. J’ai des punaises de lit ! 😩 J’ai des piqûres qui me grattent, des traces de sang sur mon matelas, voire même, J’AI TROUVÉ des œufs. 😱 Pas de panique, j’ai la solution. 😅 Les punaises de lit sont devenues hyper résistantes et déjà la plupart des produits qu’on trouve en magasin sont complètement inefficaces. 😕 Donc on oublie. Dans un premier temps, au lieu d’un traitement chimique, on va faire un traitement mécanique, c’est-à-dire des actions concrètes ! On va prendre les draps, les couettes, les Teds oreiller, et on va tout mettre dans la machine à 90°. Si vos vêtements sont près du lit et que vous avez des commodes avec des ouvertures, on va aussi tout laver ou mettre dans des sacs fermés. Ensuite, pour traiter la pièce et le matelas, la méthode la plus efficace, c’est la vapeur chaude. Les punaises de lit ne peuvent pas survivre au-dessus de 55°. Alors, vous allez prendre un balai vapeur, et vous allez pulvériser tout votre matelas, tous vos meubles, autour du lit, tout le sol, en fait tout ce qui est dans la chambre. Le mieux pour être sûr de bien éliminer tous les insectes et d’éviter que l’invasion ne revienne, c’est de répéter l’opération tous les jours pendant une bonne semaine. Je sais, c’est beaucoup de travail, mais ça évite de se faire complètement envahir. 😅 Si après ça vous avez encore des punaises de lit, je vous conseille vraiment de faire appel à un professionnel. 🙌 Pour les autres méthodes qu’on peut trouver sur internet, genre huiles essentielles, terre de diatomée, tout ça… faites très attention, les Centres antipoison enregistrent de plus en plus de cas d’intoxications causées par les produits chimiques utilisés pour lutter contre ces parasites. Donc je vous conseille vraiment de rester sur la vapeur ! En plus, c’est ce qui marche le mieux, les gars. 💪😊 #insectes #entomologie #punaisedelit #animaux #nature #nettoyage #bedbug

This latest concern follows closely on the heels of a recent incident in which a student was reportedly bitten by a rat in the same hostel. The recurrence of such problems points to a larger issue of poor sanitation and lack of cleanliness in hostel premises. Student organisation Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has raised the matter several times with both hostel and university authorities.
