BEESTON’s NEWEST SPOT ✨ @tiramisuandcobeeston is serving up homemade natural gelato, tiramisu and panuozzi sandwiches! There were only a handful of gelato flavours available when I visited, so I’m guessing they rotate rather than offering every flavour listed on the website all at once. On the day, the choices were original, Nutella and salted caramel. Of course I opted for the Nutella #chocolatefiend 🍫 The tiramisu is priced at £3.90 for a regular size, which is the perfect individual portion - I demolished this within minutes, or £5.50 for a large ✌🏻 . . . #nottingham #nottinghamfoodie #beeston #nottsfood

Think small plates inspired by world flavours, cooked up with the best local ingredients – all with a modern twist that makes every dish hit different. We had: Pork Belly with Mango Lamb and Rosemary Croquettes Honey Chilli Chicken Halloumi Classic Bruschetta Paprika frites and aioli And tiramisu to finish Everything was so good and they do a deal with 2 dishes and a side for £18.50! THREE WORDS: GIANT. CHEESE. WHEEL 😍 Cheese & Pasta Co, Chilwell Road, Beeston, NG9 1ES 📍 When Cheese & Pasta Co first opened at the start of this year, I knew I had to go. Anyone who knows me well knows that cheesy pasta is my ultimate comfort food and has been since childhood 🧀 However, I was suffering from severe nausea and food aversions at the time (thanks pregnancy!) so decided to wait until I could properly enjoy the pasta before I visited. Fast forward to earlier this month, when I FINALLY got round to hopping on the tram to Beeston and trying Cheese & Pasta Co for the first time, and this place is a great lunch spot! It mainly operates as a takeaway but there’s a modest amount of seating inside and outside the store so we happily ate our pasta in the sunshine 🍝☀️ We ordered two pasta dishes, two sides and the intriguing Dubai chocolate dessert pasta to try. There was an impressive selection of pasta toppings on the menu and it was fun to watch the fettuccine pasta being made in front of us. You can’t argue that this pasta isn’t good value for money. Is it restaurant quality? No but, with a budget-friendly price tag (currently just £7.50), it’s not pretending to be! This is the pasta you order when you’re out and about in Beeston and want something to enjoy on the go or while you’re at home and can’t be bothered to cook anything for dinner. It was tasty and satisfied my cravings for cheesy pasta - what more could I ask for really? When it came to the Dubai chocolate pasta, we were divided on our verdict 🍫🇦🇪 My cousin found the combination of pasta and chocolate sauce too weird to get on board with, while I was surprised to find that I loved it and will definitely be ordering it on all future visits to Cheese & Pasta Co! 📍 @kojima_noodles 🇯🇵 Run don’t walk as I’ve found my favourite and probably the best spot in Notts for Japanese style noodles. The owners are from Osaka and have fused their love for pasta with their Japanese roots. Once you try the texture of these noodles, store bought is just not going to cut it. The perfect bouncy chewy texture with a umami packed sauce that clings to each bite. I had to try the cheesy spicy stir noodles while my partner got the spicy stir noodles. Topped with pork, nori, leek and chives- you can also get extra toppings such traditional fermented beans called nato and kimchi. And if kissing someone is not on the cards for the day- get the raw garlic. Just trust. While I waited for my food, I watched all the action live in their open plan kitchen. Everything is made from scratch for each bowl. Our food arrived piping hot with a beautiful golden yolk which you can sub for an onsen egg (Japanese poached egg). I probably demolished my noodles in 5 mins as it was completely unputdownable. And if I was not already in food coma, they also give you a scoop of rice to scoop up any excess sauce. Dont miss their chilli oil with fried garlic (not spicy just pure flavour!) Simple decor, but food that packs a punch- don’t sleep on this humble spot as it’s going to soon be hard to get a table! Cannot recommend enough this hidden Gem in the heart of Beeston! Perfect for a coffee with friends, a special meal with the family, or a romantic night out! It’s even got perfect little corners to hide away and get some work done, without being disturbed!
