I abandoned my son by leaving him with my mom when he was 10 months old after his dad died, because I couldn’t even take care of myself during addiction I had started again. 🥺 I didn’t have custody of him for 3 years. 👉 His behavioral problems have always been horrible and I knew why he hated me on a subconscious level. Even though he didn’t remember. ❤️‍🩹 Our relationship is getting better the more I take accountability for my own healing. ⚠️ if your child has mental health issues PLEASE look at your own mental health and things you’ve suppressed before just trying to treat them.
