i have to be honest, i am at the level of crunchy where i’ve been doing this with foods & supplements since high school, and now i use it with my kids as well to test their body’s alignment for everything from products to what we eat. i am a big fan of muscle testing, because our bodies KNOW. you don’t need any special intuitive powers, but trusting your intuition does help to get an accurate read. the more you can flex that intuition muscle, the better. if you’ve never tried it, here’s how: • hold the item you want to test close to your body, in front of your heart or even the part of your body it will affect (ie if it’s a brain supp, hold it near your head) • stand tall, close your eyes, take a deep breath • ask the universe to show you a yes & then to show you a no. for me, swaying forward is a yes and swaying backward is a no. it’s different for everyone and may be very subtle, so check in with yourself here. tapping on my chest always seems to awaken & heighten this ability to tune in, so i usually do that for about 30 seconds before opening the channel • if there is no movement, the supplement or food may be neutral for you, OR you may be subconsciously resisting the accuracy of it because you don’t fully trust yourself yet. that’s ok, stick with it and it will begin working for you! • i also use this to test for dosage (as you can see here) & while you should always double check with your doctor or practitioner if you aren’t sure - for simple things like vitamin c, i do this always. the body doesn’t lie! call it energy testing, biofeedback, muscle testing, or magic ;))) but i love how it takes the guesswork out of what actually works for our bodies. and kids love it!!! it’s fun! this video was inspired by @shaynateresetaylor! i can’t believe i’ve never filmed myself in the process, but the OG’s know this has been my go-to for years. for more specific supplements & hormone supps, i have my TCM doc do her more heavy duty nutrition response testing to verify dosage. cool, huh?! who’s gonna try?! #muscletesting #energymedicine #biofeedback #bodyintelligence #soulonfire #momlife

Being near them can help to shift us from a sympathetic (fight-or-flight) state to parasympathetic (rest-and-digest). This supports trauma healing and emotional regulation 🙏 Horses are highly attuned to nonverbal cues and reflect our internal states. Many people struggle with “talk” therapy. Equine therapy allows for nonverbal, somatic healing—a way to feel safe in the body again without needing to “explain” everything. Horses often mirror the emotional state of the person they’re interacting with, which creates a natural form of biofeedback. Lastly, horses live in the present. Working with them helps you drop out of overthinking and anxiety loops and become more embodied and grounded. Some people like @__candicewebster__ are healing people with Equine therapy.
