Want black modern windows without the commitment? USE ELECTICAL TAPE! I can’t remove and paint the grids in my windows and don’t want to replace them, so I tape over them instead. I get mine on Amazon. And all you have to do is clean your windows and tape! I do have a few tips though if you don’t want your tape shrinking or peeling up over time… 1. Electrical tape is stretchy. Don’t stretch it out! If you do, it will shrink up on you over time. Ask me how I know. 2. Start with your horizontal lines and cut them a little long. That way your vertical lines will cover your edges for a cleaner look. You won’t look at the top and bottom of the window as often! 😉 3. Press the tape firmly to the window, sealing the edges as you go. This hack is renter friendly, doesn’t leave a residue when you want to remove it, doesn’t change anything on the exterior of your home, and gives you the modern black window grid look for way less time, money, and effort!
