From celebrating your husband surrounded by the people who love him… to holding and praying over your children because your whole world just fell apart. Every single one of us was blindsided. And the truth is, these are not easy conversations to have. To talk about how the enemy found a place in our marriage and in our home without me even realizing it. It’s not easy to talk about abandonment. Or the pain that comes from the choices someone else made. Or the lies that surfaced afterward and the confusion they left behind for everyone who loved our family. But what I am learning in this season is this: Even when people walk away… God does not. Even when life feels shattered… the Lord is still present in the rubble.
