KATexas A&M expected 82–85K applicants this year and planed to enroll about 32K students, similar to last year:
• ~15K Top 10% auto-admits
• ~11K holistic review admits
• ~6K pathway students
👉 Pathways (like Blinn) are counted as admitted students, not rejections.

When your Texas A&M decision arrives, here’s what it could look like:
✅ Admitted to Texas A&M – College Station
📍 Offered an Alternative Pathway
These are intentional admission pathways, not denials.
• Blinn Team – Co-enrollment at Texas A&M + Blinn College
(⚠️ Not available to students with 40+ college credits)
• TEAB – Engineering co-enrollment at A&M + Blinn (Bryan)
• PSA – One year at a Texas A&M System school (12+ locations) with guaranteed transfer admission to College Station if requirements are met
• Gateway options (for some students):
– Gateway to Success – Summer provisional admission → full admission the following fall (40+ credit limit applies)
– Engineering at Galveston – Start at Galveston; option to move to College Station after year one
– HECM (McAllen) – Begin at McAllen with the option to change campuses after one year
⏳ Waitlist
Some students must choose between another option or remaining on the waitlist by a set deadline.

❌ Not Admitted
– Disappointing, but not a reflection of effort or ability
– Many strong students are impacted by capacity limits
