Sometimes the body doesn’t need more effort — it needs space. Block Therapy is a 60-minute session that uses specially designed wooden blocks and intentional positioning to decompress fascia, improve circulation, and restore proper alignment in the body. By creating gentle pressure and support, this work helps release chronic tension, reduce pain, and allow oxygen and nutrients to reach areas that have been restricted for years. Many clients experience improved posture, decreased inflammation, better mobility, and a deep sense of relief without forceful manipulation. This therapy is especially supportive for those dealing with long-term pain, postural imbalances, restricted movement, or recovery from old injuries. ✨ Block Therapy with @theresarcane ✨ 60 minutes ✨ Book your session at www.210nourish.com 💬 Comment “SPACE” if your body feels compressed 💬 Comment “ALIGN” if you’re ready to try something different #BlockTherapy #TheresaHealing #FasciaRelease #PosturalAlignment #ChronicPainSupport #CirculationHealing #InflammationRelief #HolisticBodywork #SomaticHealing #NourishHealingCollective #SanAntonioWellness

Fascia is a connective tissue that wraps around and through every muscle, organ and nerve in the body. It’s what links everything together — physically, neurologically and energetically. But fascia doesn’t just hold muscles… It also holds patterns, stress and lived experiences. When the body has been under prolonged stress, trauma, pain or emotional pressure, the fascia can become tight, dehydrated and protective. This can show up as chronic pain, restriction, fatigue or feeling “stuck” — physically or emotionally. Bowen Therapy works directly with the fascia and nervous system, using gentle, precise moves that invite the tissue to soften and rehydrate. As this happens, the nervous system receives a signal that it’s safe to let go. This is why some people experience: • Emotional release • A sense of lightness • Old tension melting away • Shifts in mood or perspective • Feeling more present in their body Nothing is forced. The body releases only what it’s ready to release. 🌿 Healing isn’t just physical — it’s deeply connected. If you’ve tried everything physically and still feel “stuck,” Bowen may support you on a deeper level. . 📍 Sally May Bowen Therapy | Supporting Dubbo & surrounds 📅 Book today and take the first step toward moving freely again. Pain rarely comes from where you feel it. It’s usually a response to something happening elsewhere in the body. You can treat the painful area over and over, but if the real issue is coming from misalignment in the feet, hands, or overall posture, the relief will only be temporary. The body adapts by pulling, compressing, and creating tension patterns, and where that tension balloons is often where pain shows up. True change comes from looking at the entire system. When you understand how the limbs influence the core and how alignment affects load and movement, you stop chasing symptoms and start addressing the root cause. Pain is information. Look deeper. #rootcausehealing #bodyalignment #painpatterns #fasciahealth #painrelief

That upper back tension isn’t random. It’s protective. When we feel unsupported, stressed, heartbroken, or like you’re holding it all together, this area braces to guard the heart. As a bodyworker, your hands already feel more than most people can explain. But imagine understanding why the body responds the way it does, and knowing exactly how to guide change with clarity, confidence, & precision. The B3 Activation Course is designed for practitioners who want to work smarter, not harder, & who want results that last beyond the treatment table. This course teaches you how to reactivate the body through the brain body balance approach. You learn how fascia, the nervous system, movement, and perception are constantly communicating. When that communication improves, pain reduces, mobility improves, and the body regains trust in movement. What you will learn inside the course • How fascia truly works as a sensory organ, not just connective tissue • How the nervous system influences pain, tone, posture, and recovery • Why some clients improve quickly while others plateau, and how to support both • Practical reactivation techniques you can apply immediately • How to read compensations, patterns, and protective responses • How to help clients feel safe, regulated, and connected in their bodies Why bodyworkers love this course ✅ it gives context to what you already do. ✅ it sharpens your clinical reasoning. ✅ clients feel the difference. ✅ sessions become clearer, more effective, & less physically demanding for you. This course is ideal for bodyworkers, movement therapists, Pilates instructors, physiotherapists, and anyone working with pain, restriction, or performance. It bridges science & practice in a way that makes sense on the table & in movement. If you want to expand your skill set, refine your touch, & understand the body as an integrated system, this course is for you. Your hands already know a lot. What does fascia decompression feel like? At first, it’s different for everyone. Your breath is the guide, you only apply as much pressure as you can while still breathing calmly and comfortably. As your body adapts, something shifts. The pressure fibers begin to do the work, your nervous system settles, and a deep sense of calm takes over. As deeper layers release, you may notice more than physical changes; stored tension, emotions, toxins, and long-held patterns can surface. For many, this isn’t just a practice… it becomes a lifestyle. A way to reconnect with parts of your body you didn’t even realize you’d lost touch with. #fasciarelease #fascia #fasciahealth #blocktherapy #painrelief

RELEASING THE FASCIA IN THE ABDOMEN: 1. Improves posture and mobility 2. Allows better breathing 3. Reduces low back and hip tension 4. Improves digestion and gut discomfort 5. Makes you feel LIGHTER & BRIGHTER GAME CHANGING. 10-20 MIN PER DAY. RELAX INTO IT. TAKE IT SLOW. Notice your gut start to feel better and heal itself. The tension here is more than just physical. Our fascia is intelligent. It’s emotional, energetic, and spiritual. Our emotional states reliably show up in the gut. Stress, fear, grief, shame. Those things get stored in the fascia. Binding it up and causing physical tension and restriction. BUT NOW YOU KNOW, to foam roll and release it 🩵

Most people can’t take a deep breath... not because they don’t know how, but because their fascia won’t let them. When your diaphragm’s fascial connections are tight (through the ribs, obliques, psoas), trying to “just breathe deeper” creates more tension, not less. This is external oblique release. Why it matters: 👉🏻 The external obliques are like a pocket wrapped around your rib cage 👉🏻 When they’re tight, your ribs can’t expand fully - so your breath stays shallow 👉🏻 Release the fascia here, and suddenly your lungs have room to actually fill This is one technique from our Breath Release Lab - a full training we created when we realized people couldn’t breathe properly because their fascia was too tight. We teach releases for the skull, neck, thoracic spine, serratus, pecs, obliques, glutes, and piriformis - all the areas that restrict the diaphragm’s ability to move freely. Because when fascia releases, breath deepens. And when breath deepens, the nervous system finally downregulates. We don’t just teach you exercises - we teach you how to prepare the body to receive movement, and that’s what creates real transformation for your clients. Want to know more? Part 3 | Releasing the fascia in your traps will help far beyond just regulating your nervous system. When your stress causes tension build up, that also can lead to neck pain, migraines, jaw pain, poor posture, poor lymph flow, etc. Practicing this gentle release with a myofascial ball can be extremely helpful. Place it in between your shoulder blade and collarbone, then apply gentle pressure against the corner of a wall.

A lot of bodywork focuses on muscles alone. This work looks at how the nervous system is organising the body. Because if the system doesn’t feel safe, no amount of stretching, strengthening, or pressure tends to hold long term. Change happens when the body can adapt instead of constantly bracing or compensating. That’s why this approach is slow, intentional, and structural - supporting the system rather than overriding it. If you’ve tried many things and nothing seems to stick, this may be a different way forward.
