The moment I won riverrock boulder bash 25’ probably one of the most nerve racking things to be apart of. I’m siting in the chair while @joewgoodacre is climbing before me and he rips the jug after the paddle and the volume out of the wall. definitely one of the sickest things if ever seen. i’m baking in the sun waiting for them to put the volume back up. once it was my turn had to go out there and make it happen #bouldering #climbing

@riverrockrva Boulder Blitz (Boulder Dash) 🥇 in honor of @joewgoodacre 🙏 - I was fortunate to have the opportunity to compete at Riverrock again this year and had a blast! After participating in the 5k race right before iso on Friday, I chuffed a bit on the qualies boulders but still had a great time and rested up for Speed on Sunday. - While practicing the route, I found beta that resulted in 2.2X second times, but missed the buzzer twice during timed rounds. I had changed beta for the final, and the other competitors were getting faster. I thought I was safely in first with a 2.50s run in finals, but @dynomattb clutched up with a 2.44s run 🤯. With my final run on my slower side, I pulled with reckless abandon and managed to take the win with a 2.33s time. I had such a blast competing with @grace.j.chan as well! Congrats to all the competitors and especially the other speed finalists @robbie_climbs @jacob_climb @aamiagado @van_malkie for keeping me on my toes. Thank you to all the volunteers, setters, and coordinators for making this event possible in the first place as well!

I had the pleasure of competing in the Triple Threat comp at @bolderclimbing last night! As always they put on an excellent event. Yesterday was my best comp yet, scoring 3 tops and 4 zones on 4 boulders. This was Men’s intermediate 1, I got zone in 5 attempts and topped in 6! It was a really fun boulder that took a few goes to figure out, but made it work in the end!! More to come in the next few days!! Thanks everyone for the support and special shout out to the best @lenazammit ❤️

The Wild Boulder Rumpus is almost here! Join us March 28th for a day of climbing and fun! We'll have climbing sessions starting at the top of the hour from 9am-2pm, and then starting at 4pm we'll be hosting our after party/raffle right here at Brimstone. The competition format will be classic red point, with 3-hour sessions, and prizes for first place in each category! You can register for the comp and select a time slot on our website, You can also win some of our fabulous prizes by participating in our raffle! All proceeds from our raffle support our Onwards and Upwards scholarship fund, which helps us provide access to climbing to underserved folks in our community.
