Personally I can't recommend picking up tarantulas. It's been 4 months now since I got bitten and I still have pain. It started immediately after the bite, the worst pain I ever felt. 2nd day the pain was more or less gone but then I had painful severe cramps for 3 days. I was bitten in the finger but now 4 months later I sometimes have pain in my leg. It comes in rushes 2 weeks nothing and then suddenly my legs feels like a knife is stuck inside. . . . #wildlife #nature #jungle #spider #asia

Negligent feeding procedures on my end is what caused this.☣️⚠️ • It has officially been 14 days since my snake bite. The blister has drained some and now the skin around it feels/looks like a deflated plastic grocery bag full of liquid. Pain levels are low but my finger sometimes feels a little weird or ticklish. My body is still fighting to heal but I’m definitely over the hill. Mobility and feeling are coming back slowly but surely. This leplep bite was not exactly the greatest point of my career, but a humbling lesson was learned, and it looks like I’ll make it out of this one with a functioning index finger.
