A Cane Corso’s bite is estimated around 700 PSI that’s not just “strong,” that’s structural damage territory. For comparison, breeds people often lump together aren’t even close: Rottweilers, GSDs, and Pit Bulls operate hundreds of PSI lower. Different tools. Different purpose. Different category.
What makes the Cane Corso dangerous if mismanaged isn’t speed its pressure. This breed doesn’t snap and release. The jaw structure, massive head, and dense jaw muscles are built to clamp, hold, and crush. Sustained pressure is what causes catastrophic injury, not quick punctures.
