Funika chicken ingredients:
1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
3 tbsp oil
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp ginger, chopped
3 tbsp ginger, sliced
2 tbsp garlic, chopped
2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
Salt to taste
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Dhania and lemon juice as required
Method:
Into a pot add all the ingredients except the final dhania and lemon juice. Cover the pot and let it cook for 20-25 minutes. Stir in between to avoid sticking and if the chicken releases too much water, uncover the pot and let some of the liquid evaporate. Once the chicken is cooked, add dhania and lemon juice, stir and enjoy.
