How to Protect your Catching hand 🤚 This has been a topic I have dealt with for many years. And I feel like many catchers out there have dealt with the same problem. I've also gotten a few DM's on how to help with this issue and to be perfectly honestly I don't know the exact solution just the steps I've taken to minimize the damage. I also know that it has been studied by individuals way smarter than me and is a clear problem for many guys. The simple steps I've taken are: 1) Move my index finger out of the way as much as possible. 2) Add "foam" infront of where you place your finger to help deaden the blow. 3) Wear a glove Engineered specifically for this issue like the one from @allstarsportinggoods I Hope that this helps in some way and that you take my warning to get ahead of it before it becomes an issue!
