AIToday, for the first time we walked back through those hospital doors WITH Adley- our happy, curious little girl, not us going to sit beside our tiny ventilated newborn fighting for every breath not knowing what the day would hold.
Her appointment went so well! Her consultant is really happy with her progress—she’s growing at her slow Adley pace but is absolutely thriving.
She’s a little higher risk for illnesses and there’s still the chance of reherniation due to her gortex patch repair, but overall, he couldn’t be happier with how she’s doing. Her lungs are still developing, and she’s got her own unique little journey ahead, but right now, we’re just celebrating how far she’s come. Our strong, determined miracle girl continues to amaze us every single day! 🤍
