Após alguns vazamentos nas últimas semanas, a Qualcomm oficializou a chegada do novo chip Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, voltado para smartphones intermediários com algumas especificações mais potentes. Dentre as melhorias, a empresa destaca a evolução no processador e como já era esperado, na NPU (Unidade de Processamento Neural). No momento em que esta matéria foi escrita, a Qualcomm ainda não revelou especificações técnicas detalhadas sobre o modelo, mas a nova iteração do chip deve manter o mesmo sistema de oito núcleos. De acordo com a Qualcomm, o Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 promete: ➡️ Performance da CPU e GPU melhoradas entre 27 e 30%, respectivamente; ➡️ NPU 65% melhor para tarefas com inteligência artificial generativa; ➡️ Compatibilidade com o Stable Diffusion 1.5 e 2x mais memória compartilhada para o sistema; ➡️ Conectividade Bluetooth 6.0 e Wi-Fi 7; ➡️ Suporte para tecnologia de Super Resolução de vídeo, e estabilização de imagem eletrônica via hardware para a câmera; ➡️ Qualcomm Adaptive Performance Engine 4.0 para mais suavidade durante jogos com o chip.
