A software update from a CLOUD cybersecurity company called CrowdStrike didn’t go quite as planned....
It was supposed to protect systems, but ended up causing a ‘blue screen of death’ for countless Windows computers - including many EC2 instances that are operating a Windows OS.
Nearly 1,400 flights have been canceled.
Banks, retail and healthcare are also the biggest industries hit as payment systems and healthcare applications are currently down.
