These remind me of these tacos I had in Jamaica by the ocean that I still can’t completely replicate 😂 Enjoy! Full Ingredient list: 1-2 lb cod (or preferred white fish) Seasoning blend: 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper For sauce: 1/2 cup sour cream 1/2 avocado 1/2 jalapeño 1-2 garlic cloves 1/4 cup cilantro chopped 1/2-1 lime juiced Salt to taste Pepper to taste Water to dilute (optional) For coleslaw: 1-1 1/2 cup red cabbage 1- 1 1/2 cup green cabbage 1 mango diced 1 jalapeño diced 1/4 cup cilantro chopped 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1 whole lime juiced Salt to taste Pepper to tasts Flour/corn tortillas Fresh limes to garnish

Ingredients: -1 Cod fish fillet -2 corn tortillas ( @foodforlifebaking ) -1/2 avocado -Cabbage slaw (I have a recent video on how to make this) -Salsa -Hot sauce (optional) -Avocado -Salt + pepper Seasoning: -Fajita seasoning (@sietefoods ) -Olive oil -Lemon juice -Salt to taste Cut cod fillet into thin slices and marinate in seasoning for 20 minutes. Add to sheet pan and bake at 425F for 12-15 minutes. Lightly fry corn tortillas on a skillet. Add guacamole as the base. FISH TACOS w/ smoked cod + fresh salsa Smoky, zesty and so ridiculously good! Serves 2. For the salsa:
▫️ ½ red onion, finely diced
▫️ Handful of coriander, chopped
▫️ 1 garlic clove, minced
▫️ 2 tomatoes, diced For the fish:
▫️ 2 smoked cod loins
▫️ 1 tsp smoked paprika
▫️ ½ tsp onion powder
▫️ ½ tsp garlic powder
▫️ ½ tsp chilli powder
▫️ Salt + pepper For the tacos:
▫️ 6 corn tortillas
▫️ 2 avocados, smashed For the yoghurt dressing:
▫️ 2 tbsp yoghurt
▫️ 1 tsp honey
▫️ 1 tbsp lime juice
▫️ Splash of water 1. Make the salsa by mixing all the ingredients in a bowl. Season with salt and set aside. 2. Heat a pan over medium heat. Coat the cod in the spice mix, then pan-fry for 3–4 mins per side until golden and flaky. 3. Warm the tortillas in a dry pan or over an open flame for a slight char. 4. Assemble the tacos: spread smashed avocado on each tortilla, flake over the fish, and top with salsa and a drizzle of yoghurt dressing. Fish Tacos with Mango Slaw Recipe 2 Lb Cod Seasoning: 1 tbsp smoked paprika 2 tsp salt 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp cayenne powder 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp dried oregano 1/2 tsp dried thyme 1/2 lime, juiced 1/2 small orange, juiced 4 tbsp olive oil -Add all seasonings to a small bowl and mix. Pour over cod and marinate for 30 minutes. -Pan sear option: In a pan over medium high heat, add 1 tbsp olive oil and sear cod in batches for 4 minutes on each side. -Oven option: Preheat oven to 400°F and bake cod for 10 minutes. Mango Salsa: 1 mango, cubed 1/2 red onion, diced 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped 1/4 cup pickled jalapeño, chopped 4 tbsp cilantro, chopped 1/2 lime, juiced salt to taste 3 cups shredded red cabbage -Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix until combined. Sauce: 1/4 cup picked jalapeño 1/4 cup cilantro 1/2 cup mayo 1/2 cup sour cream 1/2 tsp paprika

INGREDIENTS BEER BATTER + 1 lb cod (or your preferred white fish) + 12 oz beer or carbonated water + 3 C all-purpose flour, divided + 2 TBSP cornstarch + 1 tsp black pepper + 2 tsp garlic powder + 1/2 tsp smoked paprika + 1/2 tsp cayenne + 1 tsp salt + 1.5 qt oil for frying (canola, vegetable, peanut) + Flaked sea salt TACO + Corn tortillas + Coleslaw (recipe on my blog, link in bio) + Orange Sauce (recipe on my blog, link in bio) + Crema Mexicana + White onion, diced + Cilantro, chopped + Limes, sliced into wedges DIRECTIONS + STEP 1: BATTER In a bowl, beer or carbonated water, 2 C flour, cornstarch, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne, and salt. Mix. On a separate plate or shallow dish add the remaining 1 C flour. + STEP 2: HEAT In a wok or deep pan, heat oil to 375°F. + STEP 3: SLICE Slice fish into 8 equal pieces. + STEP 4: DIP Coat the fish in the flour and then dip it into the batter to coat it thoroughly. + STEP 5: FRY Carefully add the coated fish to the heated oil (be careful not to splash oil on yourself). Routinely flip the fish to evenly cook. Remove from oil when golden brown and crispy. The internal temperature of the fish should be about 145F. + STEP 6: COOL Place the fish on a wire rack to cool. Season with flaked sea salt immediately after removing from the wok. + STEP 7: TACO Top tortilla with fish, coleslaw, a drizzle of Orange sauce and crema, onion, and cilantro.
