#nieuws #heftig #televisie #boos #reelsvantoen

🚨 I was adopted - and I didn’t learn this about my birth mother until I was nearly 50 Andrew Pierce, Daily Mail consultant editor and columnist, explains how he grew up always knowing he was adopted, but it wasn’t until he was nearly 50 that he began the search to find out who his birth mother was. Pierce says he was surprised to discover that his mother had visited him as a child in the orphanage, having long believed she had abandoned him there. With help from fellow reporter Amanda Platell, the search took him across Britain and Ireland and back to Birmingham, where he had once worked as a young journalist. The journey became the basis of his first book, Finding Margaret, which documents how he eventually tracked down his birth mother. ❓ Have you ever tried to trace your family history or birth parents? Let’s talk in the comments. 🎙️ @piercetoryboy

Follow @benshapirounfiltered for more 🇺🇸 Most people don’t know this about Ben Shapiro, but before becoming one of the most recognized political commentators in America, he became a nationally syndicated columnist at just 17 years old. That early start is part of why he developed the fast-paced debate style he’s now famous for. By the time most people were finishing high school, Shapiro was already publishing political commentary across the country and building the foundation for the speaking career that would later make him one of the most in-demand campus speakers in the United States. Ben Shapiro is widely known as the co-founder of The Daily Wire, a major American media company focused on political commentary, culture analysis, and long-form podcasts. His daily podcast consistently ranks among the most downloaded political shows in the United States, often topping charts across Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Because of that reach, his campus speaking tours through organizations like Young America’s Foundation regularly draw thousands of students and create viral debate moments online. Over the years, Ben Shapiro has built a reputation for rapid-fire debating, sharp one-liners, and highly structured arguments. His campus Q&A events frequently produce the kinds of unpredictable exchanges that dominate social media clips, where students challenge him directly in front of live audiences. These moments tend to spread widely because they combine humor, tension, and quick rhetorical responses that audiences immediately recognize as classic debate theater. Beyond debates, Shapiro is also a Harvard Law School graduate, a bestselling author, and a long-time syndicated columnist. His books on politics, culture, and American institutions have repeatedly landed on national bestseller lists, helping cement his role as one of the most visible conservative commentators in modern American media. #benshapiro #politics #debate #dailywire #campusdebate

@monarchreport25
Dr. Yang Il-guk, a Ph.D. in international politics and conservative columnist, delivered a sharp critique in a broadcast interview of South Korean lawmakers and leftist figures who condemned the recent U.S. airstrike on Iran under President Trump. He accused them of clinging to outdated 1980s anti-American sentiment, pointing out the irony of celebrating Iran's 1979 Islamic Revolution—when women were forced into hijab—while today enjoying freedoms in the United States, including sending their children to study there. Yang called for an awakening from what he described as delusional ideology, especially as reports emerge of Iranians celebrating the fall of Supreme Leader Khamenei and rejecting long-imposed restrictions. The remarks reflect South Korea's enduring ideological fault lines on foreign policy. Progressive voices, including some ruling party members, have criticized the U.S. action as unilateral aggression that risks regional instability, consistent with their historical emphasis on non-intervention and skepticism toward American military moves. Conservatives, in contrast, frame the strike as a blow against a repressive theocracy, aligning with support for democratic values and strong U.S. alliance. This divide has persisted since the democratization era, shaping debates on everything from North Korea policy to global human rights. Such exchanges matter because they expose how domestic politics continue to color interpretations of international crises, often prioritizing ideological consistency over evolving realities abroad. In a globalized era where Korea's security and economy are tied to U.S. leadership, these contrasting reactions highlight the challenge of reconciling historical grievances with present-day facts. When Korean figures condemn actions that many in Iran appear to welcome, what does that reveal about the gap between local ideology and global human rights realities?

Kat Rosenfield, columnist and novelist, released her new thriller, “How to Survive in the Woods,” on March 10. But columnist Ingrid Jacques grew familiar with Rosenfield’s work back in 2022. Rosenfield, now a culture writer for The Free Press (cofounded by CBS News’ editor-in-chief Bari Weiss), penned an essay for the National Review, “Why I Keep Getting Mistaken for a Conservative,” that discussed the tribalism of politics. “Rosenfield’s writing is eloquent and stylish, and she’s adept at breaking through the noise of our cultural moment and distilling what’s going on,” Jacques writes. But our columnist had a question: does Rosenfield still agree with her sentiments from four years ago? 🔗 Read the full column at the link in bio 🌐 Find more at usatoday.com/opinion
