MA🦁 Bonzo can walk / run / chase a ball / Spaniel about for hours and not be tired. In fact he often seems more energised 🚀
🏋️♂️ If you don’t give a working dog a job to do on a walk they will go self employed - this often fills them with more adrenaline (and they won’t settle when they get home because of this)👇
👀 Scentwork, Gundog style retrieves and searches, Trick Training, digging - 15 - 20 mins and Bonzo is tired, but in a lovely, relaxed, calm way
🙌🏻 But of course he has fun just being a dog on walks too. I just don’t use walks as a main source of mental stimulation. I don’t expect walks alone to tire him
🤔 Spaniels are bred to hunt, not to run and chase for hours. Standard dog training approaches do not address this
